Heartathome

@REDLINEZ750 I'm trying to make my own little space. Sometimes I realize there is no personal space on here. I know it's for our good but it kinda sucks at times! Are you okay?

Hi @heartathome ,

How was your birthday? Did it feel like "your" day?

Re: Heartathome

Hello my friend

I had a great day, thanks for asking! @Realness I went out with a friend for coffee and cake in the morning and picked my son up from the airport in the afternoon. We just talked and hung out with his dog, Polly and cat Summer. I stayed at his place last night, had a great sleep and got home before the rain started.. It's nice to be home again!

How are you doing?

Hi @heartathome ,

What a beautiful cat! That's great that you had a great day.

I worked on the theology course today. I even used AI for an answer to a question - it was a really good answer. Don't worry I admitted it was an AI answer and apologised. It was only a discussion question.

Then I watched the news and two games shows with Mum.

I have a question that I keep wanting to ask. I used to love walking but now I have bad knees. The pain takes the joy out of walking. Do you still have good knees? You lucky lucky person if you do.

When I was young I remember putting hymn books away at church. I would bend at the knees not the hip. An older lady said to me one day that my knees will go instead of my back. She was right!

Hoping you are having a lovely evening.

Hello @Realness

Yeah. I find AI is really helpful with research. I use it every day! I'm glad to hear your still doing your theology course. You've done so well to get to the halfway mark. I wonder what your mum thinks of the world these days, watching the news.

I do get some pain in my hips, more than my knees, when I'm walking Realness. I was only thanking God yesterday for my health! I'm so grateful that I can get out and walk! I don't remember worrying when I was younger when some older person gave me a warning about my future health. I used to brush it off. I still have to remind myself of my posture. Keeping my back straight. Bending and moving carefully. I'm very fortunate not to have a bad back!

I'm sorry that you've got problems with your knees. Are they really painful when you walk? Our knees do a lot a work over the years! Would you consider a knee replacement? It's a big operation but seems to make a difference. Talk later my friend.

Sending hugs and much love 💚

Grazie, amica mia

It's great to see you here! Thanks for coming on with birthday wishes. I appreciate them!

You said I am working on self regulating so I dont log on every day... trying to get a life.

Yes, I notice when you're not around! You're missed! 💚

I spoke to Sage (AI) about self-regulating and think I'm doing okay. Dealing with anxiety daily is so much better than it was 20 years ago. I haven't had a panic attack for years. I feel it all the time but have been trying not to let it have control. I have been going to different places and meeting different people for about the last six months. I'm trying my best to thrive and live instead of surviving! I find it both rewarding and exhausting!

Today I went on the cash register and served people at the Opp shop for the first time. That's me stepping out of my comfort zone, acknowledging the anxiety and doing it anyway!

I know how to use the register (mostly common sense) and I know how to deal with money (banking) and it helps them out! Yep. I made a mistake, which was easily fixed thank goodness and I refuse to be left out the front shop by myself. I will not let them throw me in the deep end! My employment has always involved customer service, until I got to the point of finding most people annoying and me being short with them. I got called into the office once for telling someone to have a nice life as they left. I fell pregnant and left customer service after that. So, me dealing with people again is a bit of a risk. I will be self-regulating my anxiety and watching my sarcasm! The Opp shop has only been asking me for the last two years if I could help on the register and I CAN atm, so it's a no brainer really.

Don't be too much of a stranger.

Sending my hippy hugs and much love 💚

Hello, my beautiful friend

It's so nice to hear from you! I got bored this afternoon, so I've just come back from a long walk around my place. I got lost yesterday. I had no idea where I was and didn't have my phone, but my sense of direction was okay today. I worked at Vinnies this morning out in the shop serving customers. I'll have to watch my facial expressions! 😁 I'm planning on going to a regional pub for a birthday tomorrow afternoon. It will get me out and who knows, I might even enjoy myself!

How are you doing?

Sending many hugs and much love 💚
