Hi everyone and thank you for your good wishes, prayers and thoughts.

I have decided to take some time off from Sane for a little while as I am not in the best place mentally. I have been very depressed, as well as having uncomfortable dreams about people I loved and who rejected me. I don't think I've had a day where I haven't cried because I am so emotional.

I am too emotionally involved and my mental bucket is so empty it's bone dry.

I will continue to pray for y'all and hope that you are blessed beyond measure with kindness, love and understanding.

Take care

Enkeli xoxo

Re: Enkeli's Space

@Glisten my Tomaatii, you are simply amazing.

One day I shall meet you in person and you will be even more amazing.

I am going to name my sauna after you 😁

Re: Enkeli's Space

@Glisten now I want to know what you're doing with iron acetate!

I had lunch at momsies' she made Chicken Italienne. From her French cook book.

How was your day petal?

Re: Enkeli's Space

@ENKELI did you say that your mother made Italian Chicken from a French recipes book?

I wonder if Italian chickens 🐓 and French chickens can understand each other?

What sort of sauna would you prefer?

A glass front is nice. As long as no one can see you. I also like a barrel.

Me: I had a good day and a productive woodworking day. It relaxes me. Physiologist says the texture of wood relaxes people.

Iron Acetate - to ebonize wood. Turns wood black without losing the grain.

Re: Enkeli's Space

@Glisten indeed, it was Italian chicken from a French cook book. I didn't ask the chicken if it was bilingual before I ate it. Perhaps I should have. A bit rude of me really.

As long as it's not infra red I would take any of those saunas. I'd have one way glass though and enough room to lie down. Some of those compact ones look like you can only sit. Must lie down.

So Tomaatti, you are doing a project hmmm? If you are ebonizing wood it sounds like it will be a beautiful piece. You are so clever.

Re: Enkeli's Space

@ENKELI bilingual chickens, none linguistic chickens - they taste all the same.

You lay down in the sauna. So do I.

I don’t like sitting. It makes me feel a bit squeamish, I don’t know why.

At very least my feet have to be parallel to my butt.

Do you ever put your feet on the wall?

You clever Minx, of course you would have a sauna with one way glass.

Re: Enkeli's Space

@Glisten lol, I adore you and wish you were my sister. I get more compliments from you than my entire family most days!!

Yes, I do put my feet on the wall. Have you re-wired the stalking cam to stalk me instead of you?! 😁

Re: Enkeli's Space

@ENKELI I hacked Stalk Cam. Big Sister is watching you. Not true I’m watching MM & Gypsy Monroe.

Is Nigel Numpty’s house ugly?

Re: Enkeli's Space

@ENKELI Retiisi, in my defence the metal shard wasn’t my fault, I thought it was a tiny piece of bark. Didn’t I get a surprise 🤬! It was inside the house on the carpet of my bedroom floor. I’ve walked it in from somewhere.

Better that I get it stuck in my thumb 👍🏼 than a dog’s paw.

I was cutting some very thin pieces of Pine. So thin that you can see sunlight through parts of the grain, transparent cellulose running through the wood grain. It gave me the stupid idea to sand down a metre long piece of Ghost Gum tree bark to 2mm thick mount and back light 💡 it as a wall sculpture.

The left thumb was a slip while working in the grooves of tree bark.

I think, I know how to stop it from falling apart. I can’t find any reference on the interwebs of anyone having done it before.

If anyone can if find it, you can 🥰

Re: Enkeli's Space

@Glisten I am at a loss, I know not of things of stone and wood.

I still think subconsciously you were trying to inflict pain upon your poor thumbs. Do they need counselling?

I do agree that better your paw than one of the doggoes.
