Self care by growing a garden

Self care by growing a garden

A SOS to any green thumbs out there

I have always found gardening to be therapeutic and it has given me great joy. However, after a major crisis with Mr Darcy's health I have not had been able to get back into it. Have other gardeners suffered from a similar hiatus and how have you recovered and got going again?

Darcy

PS have a spot that needs filling any recommendations for a 1m high cool climate white flower plant?

Re: Self care by growing a garden

Bee friend came today and took away couple of layers off our bee hive for honey extraction. Am not sure as to whether or not to keep the hive as it is a responsibility that we could not have managed without help from friend. Will share the honey with friend. Hope to make up a few labels and give some of ours as gifts (we don't eat a lot if honey ourselves).

Re: Self care by growing a garden

Stand firm @Shaz51 ... grass can take more work than a garden if maintained properly.

Re: Self care by growing a garden

@Former-Member my dad kept bees at ine point. More to aid with the crops than for a desire for honey. Gave up when they all died off. Remember it being a lot of work.

I agree with everyone else though @Shaz51. If that isbyour space tell him notl negotiable. Even though I joke about it I would nit dream of doing that to my darling if she was remotely interested in it.
