alone where family should have been finds siblings known but never seen

this will be my last sunset from my room this summer and this is my last night where my lion demands my attention and through one look says you packed that bag again how long dont think i dont know.

i just want to say in one spot not over many threads im not afraid because of you all.

i am only able to take this journey because of you all and you need to know you really are valuable part of peoples lives even though not in person you are somehow more real than those with faces.

hell you even have faces in an aura presence kinda way i notice if you guys havent noticed every individual has various struggles every day and somehow know where the support is needed more from a post and that person is shown care, support comfort and given space to safely share what ever they do or dont want to while sharing laughs, positive picture things and genuine care for each other.

i could go on

need try sleep last night in my bed this summer too and its ok because you my forum family have been taking my rants and fears and insecurity,raw unfiltered over sharing and knowledge of my mistake with patience understandinfg and without them things id still be falling because no one else was reaching to slow me down and find a path back out.

on upside im no comms for at least 10days so i want to post this here for you guys so all know you are appreciated, you know who you are and @moderators all of you, peer guides and supports really for me ive felt such a sense of belonging i thought was lost by losing contact with family.

not one of you asked why i need to do this you know, think about where else so many people dont want to know such things as a whole, for someone thats struggled with addiction since 15 i noticed it and its a first you are truly non judgemental and have made a positive impact for me so please know your worth.

i also thought if this is here you and i know where to go see the pookinator if you want see him before i get to again.

im only going tag a few so it doesnt look like i missed a few out im going leave a shitload out and i think they will tag others and so on and if not maybe they stumble acyoss it, sorry for typos and grammar just smashing this out and lying down few hours with me mate before car gets here 7.50. deep exhale

@heartathome thank you heart. just talking about god here with my sane friends makes me feel calmer. whereas the thought of walking into a church etc fills me full of dread. tried it it doesnt fit well with me.

@Bunniekins as you know I'm a Christian, baptised in the Holy Spirit as an adult.

I haven't been to church for over 3 years.

Finding a church that resonates with you can take time.

God doesn't count the times we go to church. There are many other things we do that pleases Him.

Sometimes people feel okay about God... but not okay about church. And it's more common than you think. A relationship with God can begin anywhere - quietly, honestly, just as you are!

@Bunniekins I believe in creation and the wonder of nature, bird songs early in the morning, sunrise and sunsets and everything in between, nature's how I find purpose and grounding.

I believe Christ Jesus walked the earth and breathed in the same wonders and same air, I believe he was as perfect as creation itself and in his blood we can again be received by the father.

I pray gratitude daily and do a scripture verse every morning with AI and write it into a journal as well as have it explained to me and it's mind-blowing how simple Christianity really is and how wrong I had been taught on the true meanings of some of the p

Churches aren't necessary in fact many endanger salvation through false prophecy which we are even warned about in the Bible.

Not all though, just many.

I believe Jesus accepts and loves me warts and all and doesn't expect the perfect image churches try jam down your throat.

I believe I am saved through faith not works however from faith comes good works.

This is a perfect example shown by @ENKELI & @heartathome in response to your questions

I believe the holy spirit is real and when you walk into a place worship where he is actively present you will know as I have found one only recently or have been led to it how you want to look at it.

It's only small maybe less than 30 people and in a secluded spot in the blue mountains and I now look forward to sunday's to go there.

I had stopped trying to find a good church years ago for same reasons as yourself and others.

I hope it's not an over answer to your question

I believe you are also loved by Jesus and part of the vine that may well be why you feel so lost some of time and them demons you see know it.

I believe prayers are heard also .

@heartathome @REDLINEZ750 @Bunniekins I used to be actively involved in a church many years ago, including the kids club on Wednesdays with my friend who had introduced me to her church and then later with her dad baptised me. One of the kids made a comment about the church and my friend said "it's just a building, it's Jesus and the people who attend that make it a church." It's so true and I have kept that thought.
@heartathome that verse - Matt 18:20 is a verse my ex friend and I used a lot with her kids, back when I was their Godmother. The kids and I would often have different lessons and we would tell them the same thing. They thought that was pretty cool.
