Through One's Eyes

Through One's Eyes

I have started this new thread for others to share and enjoy The World of Art. The title is a reflection on the many different views and ways of seeing art that is very subjective to the viewer.

Anyone can share a piece they have produced, are working on or would like to one day 'get around to doing'.

Many 'forumites' use art as a form of therapy or grounding/coping strategies - so please also share your experiences of these also.

It is also a place to discuss what people like, dislike are drawn to and the feelings ellicited from producing and viewing any pieces.

Feel free to add images or topics of discussion and enjoy the wonderful world that we can share through Art.

@Zoe7

Surprise ..... !!

Salvador Dali made jewelllery, amongst sculptures and paintings ....

This looks like a tear of happiness to me, going by the shape of the eye and the beautiful colours and materials ..... although those are diamonds and precious stones so the tear might be owing to the cost of the thing .... lol

Edit: ..... thought I had better correct the spelling of his name .... whoops 🤭

Re: Through One's Eyes

Its something a family friend sent to me @Zoe7, but it ties in to things we are learning about in sculpture.

Apparently these “creatures”

have a computer chip in them that enables them to run away from the water’s edge, so they are not carried out to sea .... and it measures wind velocity to determine how much, if any, sail to put up to be able to survive storms on the beach .... and they roam a beach in the Netherlands somewhere, in a little herd ......

They are fascinating, aren’t they ??

There are books about them.
