Through One's Eyes

I have started this new thread for others to share and enjoy The World of Art. The title is a reflection on the many different views and ways of seeing art that is very subjective to the viewer.

Anyone can share a piece they have produced, are working on or would like to one day 'get around to doing'.

Many 'forumites' use art as a form of therapy or grounding/coping strategies - so please also share your experiences of these also.

It is also a place to discuss what people like, dislike are drawn to and the feelings ellicited from producing and viewing any pieces.

Feel free to add images or topics of discussion and enjoy the wonderful world that we can share through Art.

Here are are a few other ideas .....

Look carefully at where the artists have used warm colour tones to contrast cool colour tones ..... eg the yellow in the sky in this painting makes the blue used in the snow look colder .... but a tinge of yellow is also used in the snow, because snow is actually crystals that pick up and reflect the colours around them. The snow itself is not white .... which is what your mind probably imagined ....

A more graphic depiction of snow (graphic art) keeps the snow completely white, as in the image above with the grey sky and figures in black.

ok this winter theme is driving me crazy. i cant figure out how to do it. i tried doing 2 yesterday but as i thought i still cannot paint!

to give you an idea- someone i know has alwasy said they wanted a white winter and im tring to draw them a picture that i can say- there you go now you can have winter any time you like.

i thought about doing there name in in a snow theme

"Masked lady" @Bunniekins@outlander@Maggie@utopia@Former-Member These are but a few of the cross stitches I have done. Will post more over a span of time and tag you again then. This one is beading, Metallicas, embroidery, silks, crystals, cross stitch and speciality stitches (abit more detailed). Hope you like them.
