@Jynx

No not cheap vanilla essence, it must be vanilla extract. I usually use

Queens brand.

I assume the Japanese ones have more self-raising flour (or baking soda) proportionally. Maybe I should try making them sometime, I'm sure there will be a recipe online. @Snowie @Jynx

@Oaktree agree - must be real essence, not imitation. I usually buy Queen also - unless I'm at aldi lol.

I also like the Indonesian pancakes when they put banana in the batter. Not sure why it tastes different to banana on top, but it does. 😛

Hey @Shaz51

I met up with my partner to study today. It was fun. I don’t have any plans for tomorrow. Probably just sleep in and go for a walk.

Mum and I used to put banana in the pancakes mixture @AlwaysMyself , @Oaktree , @Snowie , @MissGremlin , @Jynx

Hello @Lapis_Anteater 😊 you are just in time for the pancakes party 🥳

How do you like yours

@Jynx

Hi my sister @Shaz51

@Shaz51

Thanks! I like them fluffy :). How about you?

Hello my sister @oceangirl 😊

I am not friends with bananas 🤣

Hate the smell, the taste, and to me, anything touched by a banana is ruined :nauseated_face: No one can tell me 'but you can't even taste the banana!' because... oh I sure can! Blech! 😅

And yes, real vanilla only in my extracts!! I've also been a fan of the vanilla bean paste you can get! I put it in my coffee 😋

@Jynx oh bananas, the texture gets me and i can't eat them, then there's the smell. That's a nope from me 😂.
