@Shaz51 Thanks for starting a new thread each Saturday! I really look forward to it and hope to be tagged in future please! It’s always great to know what different things and adventures different forumites are going in different parts of Australia as I often get ideas from each person.

As for me, it’s a relaxing day with me planning to do some crochet granny squares for a blanket - already done 3 today due to struggling to sleep overnight for some unknown reason- along with watching Back to the Future at 7:30 tonight on tv. My cold has gotten better which is good news. The weather in my part of Victoria is sunny right now although it’s been rainy earlier in the morning- typical Victorian weather system! I’ll also be looking at the AFLW results to see who my Brisbane Lions play next week as they have this week off in the finals series that started last week.

The good news on other fronts of my crazy life is my housemate is going away for a few days as if tomorrow until Thursday so I’ll get a few days of lovely carer respite away from her which I desperately need, with things being quite stressful lately. At least I’ve got my housing thing sorted and storage booked for early next month so that’s 2 less stressful things to worry about.

Morning everyone!! Sorry I’m late for coffee chats @Shaz51, hope the coffee has hit the spot for everyone! I really feel like a coffee frappe but it’s a bit of a drive more than 30min away for one so just settling with my juice 🤣, house sitting atm it’s so much fun but also a lot for work! I have been super busy lol- being a plant mum LOL and maintaining house and yard. It’s gone quick I finish on Monday.

Lovely to see you @Judi9877, missing your sport or what’s on atm? Cricket soon? I don’t mind the 20/20 but not the test matches haha.

I have decided to wind down my perpetual stew. Today is day 24 that it's been going in the slow cooker

I'm now craving things like air fryer crispy food to be eaten by hand, like wings etc

I bought a bass guitar second hand this morning. Fender PJ style - SX brand. I really haven't played in almost 30 years. But my psychologist suggested music (I think that she meant listening to music)

Found some goodies. Brought MIL a xmas present and some wine!!

Was our town's festival. The town is known for it so people come from afar. They close down the main street for it. Just means lots of people.

Have fireworks tonight which we should be able to see from our house. Just have to keep the dog inside.

I'm just at home today, watching Youtube. I'm planning to go for a walk later once it cools down a bit.
