~ Toolshed 2: Power Tools for Recovery ~

Hey hi hello! Welcome to the second iteration of...

~ The Toolshed ~

I decided to make a new thread, as the first one had errors and phantom pages, and was getting quite long! You can still find all the amazing pics, inspiring quotes, and uplifting messages of the first Toolshed here.

What is the Toolshed? Ain't a place to hang your hammer! Hehe this is a space where we can share the things that have helped us in our recovery. Tools, coping skills, inspiring ideas, and messages of hope and growth, is what this space is all about!!

You can stay connected and up to date on this space by favouriting, or by subscribing to the thread - head to the top of the page, and find the three dots to the right of the thread title (next to the star), click, and from the drop down menu you can 'favourite' or 'subscribe' - and clicking the star itself will also favourite the thread for you.

Favourite threads are then always available in your favourites list which should appear on the right hand side of most forums pages - or you can go to your profile and scroll down to the 'Favourites' section under your recent posts.

If you subscribe, it means that you will get a notification every time someone posts something new in the thread. So up to you if you simply want it to be always accessible, or if you want all the updates, or both!

I invite anyone who wishes to contribute to do so! It doesn't have to be pictures, it can be discussion, questions, videos, whatever you like! So without further ado, here's my latest batch!

Hey @Taali and of course EVERYONE else here on Sane forum I'm still here checking on you all each day sometimes I don't know what to say to you or to be positive enough and sometimes I battle to get through to navigate through Sane slowly but surely I'm feeling my way through you all have so much to say and I have so little to say most of the time I stay in the background I guess that's called mental health. I've lived with my mental condition since I was 15 now I'm 66 gone from being diagnosed with depression to bi polar disorder which is the crappiest condition no one seems to understand me or they say they don't - they love me but don't understand how I can live where I am alone after being dependant on someone else for last 40 years in a 1 bedroom cottage which isn't the greatest but I'm independent and that's what I love about it not being told you have to meet new people if I wanted to talk and meet new people I bloody well will not because someone told me, enuf of my soap box. Today I'm grateful to be able to sit on my front stairs listen to the cows moo for whatever reason, have a green frog sit on my windowsill who I call Freddo & I chat with him, see the silhouette of the local tawny mouth frog owl sitting on the branch outside my cottage last but not least have you all to listen to my soap boxery yarns

Good night all

Hey @Spitfire1 you just do you!

It's okay to, no in fact it's good to share your journey and concerns here without any expectations or judgements.

You have some complex issues that could exacerbated by further disclosure. MI sufferers really get it regardless of their diagnoses and where they are on their journey.

Please just be you!

Your home sounds lovely and you can even listen to the cows..

Go gently my friend 🧡
