~ Toolshed 2: Power Tools for Recovery ~

Hey hi hello! Welcome to the second iteration of...

~ The Toolshed ~

I decided to make a new thread, as the first one had errors and phantom pages, and was getting quite long! You can still find all the amazing pics, inspiring quotes, and uplifting messages of the first Toolshed here.

What is the Toolshed? Ain't a place to hang your hammer! Hehe this is a space where we can share the things that have helped us in our recovery. Tools, coping skills, inspiring ideas, and messages of hope and growth, is what this space is all about!!

You can stay connected and up to date on this space by favouriting, or by subscribing to the thread - head to the top of the page, and find the three dots to the right of the thread title (next to the star), click, and from the drop down menu you can 'favourite' or 'subscribe' - and clicking the star itself will also favourite the thread for you.

Favourite threads are then always available in your favourites list which should appear on the right hand side of most forums pages - or you can go to your profile and scroll down to the 'Favourites' section under your recent posts.

If you subscribe, it means that you will get a notification every time someone posts something new in the thread. So up to you if you simply want it to be always accessible, or if you want all the updates, or both!

I invite anyone who wishes to contribute to do so! It doesn't have to be pictures, it can be discussion, questions, videos, whatever you like! So without further ado, here's my latest batch!

@MissGremlin I relate to the first one so hard. Everytime I try out something I normally just end up doing it only for a short period and then quit after. 🥲 it’s just the way I go with it, especially when I have no one and don’t have a positive outlook on challenges. 🥲😅

hope you’re doing ok today friend

Hello @Blackcloud my sweet, i hear you. But I am glad that you at least give things a try. Just because you haven't done it for long or have given up for now doesn't mean that you can't try again another time ☺️.

Today has been rough so I'm taking things minute by minute.

How are you going sweet?

Re: ~ Toolshed 2: Power Tools for Recovery ~

@MissGremlin oh yeah, you’re right about that. That’s something I need to remind myself of too! 😊

Because I wanna sign up for dance classes I was worried that I would only end up participating for a short term and then quit but I do hope I can commit to it long term cause i think it’ll be great for me to pursue a dance related career someday in the future, even with my anxiety around people in the same classes. And I hope the service I wanna sign up with can accept having a support worker coming into the classes with me.

I’m sorry you’re going through a tough time at the moment. I’m proud of you for continuing to push through just like I do. Hugs for you buddy ❤️ even doing something small day by day is more than enough.

The past few days have been severely overwhelming and pretty stressful. I was thinking a lot about wanting to pursue something that I’ve been too scared in giving a try at & i couldnt stop thinking about it but I guess that’s kind of a good thing? cause now doing uni for me isn’t worth it anymore because of the assignments. I think I’m much better off in doing TAFE and any other hands on stuff than doing a bachelor’s degree.

Hi @Cuddlebear @Bunniekins @Captain24

Atm I’m taking one day at a time.

I’ve not been on the forums much recently due to something that happened. I’ve been chatting with Tyme off the forums about what happened.

Im in the process of having this account deleted for reasons I prefer not to go into.

I will be making a new account soon. Prefer not to mention anymore than that.

hoping today is being good to you and the weather is pleasant. 💐

Hello @Blackcloud, sorry sweet. I did miss it. I'll reply a bit after though, just doing dinner at the moment.
