my nice thing today was my barrista making me a large coffee instead of the small i ordered, then still giving it to me and not charging me when he realised - small things but made me happy 🙂

Maybe today is a coffee thing day @Fancy_Pants. This morning we ordered our usual at starbucks and they asked us if we wanted light, medium or dark blend. Then when we probably looked startled, the guy said, 'we have lots of choice today'. It was a good coffee.
We've had a lazy day. Trying to keep steady.

SUNDAY FUNDAY, Hi everyone, was looking for ages to find this thread, being Sunday and wanting some light, conversation. Thought it should be in the 'Enjoying Time With Others Section' looked and looked. Hmm, maybe move it there @CherryBomb, @NikNik, just a thought.
What's everyone doing today? I'm relaxing, its so quiet. Weekends are lonely for me so here I am chatting to you (such a great service). I watch the neighbours visitors come and go, and hear anoying machinery buzzing in the neighbours shed.
I love the birds, they call me out of the house to the garden. I'm creating a lovely potting workspace around the side. Need some more Besser Bricks for shelves / tables. A huge tree sprung up on that west side of the house some 7yrs back and wow, what a God send, it really has cooled things down inside, and given a lovely shady space to potter. Finding quality soil for my pots is a challenge. And gotta watch the redbacks, but just being out there brings healing. I lost tv reception a year ago (broke & low priority to fix re $), and my dvd broke last week, hmm, so no surprise - I'M GETTING MORE DONE!!! lol. What's everyone else up to?

having a quiet day here, hot, no shops open to spend money. off to work again tomorrow but not til 1pm

just off to pick up my new glasses and try to pull my day together. It's midday and I haven't done anything yet. I'll probably be quiet for the rest of the day on the forum as I have lots to do. Feeling crappy but pushing through today.
