i stayed under the umbrella until dinner time.. made a pasta sauce.. then put the pasta into the water only to find it was full of weevils... WHY???? its such a small thing but i just felt like crumbling into nothing on the floor and giving up. its like an omen nothing is going to go ok. but got it toegether boiled another pot of water and kids now eating.. bit late...

I believe its important to feel that sharing what is important to you is ok. I might go on about my boy, other's about cats. If it matters to you then to be authentic in a group that values you .. of course its ok.

We now associate you with kili .. and I, for one, like hearing about her. Its part of the ongoing journey of getting to know one another, and some of us "knew" you before you had kili, so appreciate her presence in your life .. and then in ours.

I am a city girl, but need a dash of country every now and then. Just returned from the NSW Highlands ... and missed some of the Melbourne rain.

They are just words .. but words do matter ... seeing your pic grounds me. It reminds me of my dairy farm times as a teen and I feel a bit more whole. And we have history and that matters too. You are in a tough world and Kili is your child .. and your self-deprecating humour was good. Some of us struggle to admit being a bad mummy.

My current mummy action .. is insisting that dinner will not be cooked til my big boy does the dishes from the weekend when I was away. Its been painful for him, but he finally is doing them. sigh .. relief. Then we both can eat.

Myself and hubby are having a lovely lazy lye-in bed on this sunny Sunday after having a fun day out yesterday. We went to see a movie "Eye In The Sky". A great storyline but I ended up losing it and crying my eyes out (to my embarrassment) in the theatre as the horror of what can happen in war got to me (especially when a child is involved). But a top quality movie. Then we went out to dinner (Asian meal) and had a go on the poker machines and won $50:) A top day.

Today, once we drag ourselves out of our comfy bed, we are off to a raffle and dinner at another club later this afternoon with friends. This is after we have a long walk along the beach absorbing this beautiful day. Should be a good one. Hope all have a relaxing one xx

I was wondering if you could explain how you managed to post pictures/slogans on your posts here as part of your messages?

Also I have been trying to upload some photos on my profile page in a album - I uploaded it from my computer and when it finishes it comes up "Album" but the pictures aren't visible and nothing is in the albums once pressed - no sign of photos. If you have some time would appreciate some guidance. Thank you.
