Good morning @GezzaP What's the weather going to do today? Another cold day down your way? Have you got anything planned for the day? I'm going to church this morning. I haven't got any plans for the afternoon. I might try and get out, maybe go for a bit of a walk since I didn't do it yesterday. 💚

My team is playing in the women’s AFL this afternoon so I will watch that. Also need to tidy up some clothes. Bins go out today too.
I hope you have a nice day.

@Mustang67 A walk up the local shop, a bit of gardening, tidy up some clothes, put bins out and watch my team in women’s AFL is my day’s plans. About to put bins out. Then I’ll walk to shop.

@GezzaP Sounds productive. What team do you follow in AFL?

Walk to shop and gardening completed. @Mustang67 Didn’t do much gardening as I want to go for another walk. I follow the Adelaide Crows.

@GezzaP what's the weather outside like? It's cold in the cabin, so I am assuming it is cold outside. But if you go for a walk, you wouldn't be cold for long.
I used to sort of follow the crows back in 1997/1998, but since my partner played and followed rugby league, that sport eventually took over in the household. At one point I followed the Sydney Swans, as a lady who I worked with, her brother played for the Swans, so I started following them. I was lucky enough to be invited to his 21st in Sydney and got to watch him play at the Sydney Cricket Ground. After the game we went out to dinner, where I sat opposite Michael O'Loughlin. And I got to meet some of the other players, but Michael is the only one that I remember. He seems like a really nice guy.
Enjoy your walk 😊

@Mustang67 It was sunny but now it’s overcast. Was a nice if fairly short walk just felt restless and needed another walk. Sitting down now. Will check email and Fscebook then read paper. Would have been good to meet players. I’ve never met any Adelaide players but the games are too expensive to go to. I could go to open training I guess.

@GezzaP When the Adelaide RAMs team joined the super league, we would go and watch a game here and there, and I have been lucky enough to have my team that I support come to Adelaide to play a game at the Adelaide Oval. I can't remember how much they charged.
In 2023 they played the State of Origin in Adelaide for the first time, and it was on my bucket list to go to a State of Origin match. As soon as I heard it advertised, I was on the internet buying two tickets, even before asking my partner if he wanted to come. Lol I got the tickets on the try line at a cost of $150.00 per seat. That is the most that I have ever paid for a seat at a sporting event. I could say it was worth it, but my team lost. But the atmosphere was electric, and I really enjoyed myself.
Have you ever been to a crow's game? I love watching footy live.
