All Things Sport...

There are many threads dedicated to sharing experiences - good times and not so good - so I thought I would start a thread for those on here who love their sport. For me - and I suspect for some others - sport is a good distraction as it often blocks out the more negative emotions and helps to avoid triggers that many other things in 'life' so often seem to do.

This thread can also be a place where like-minded (and not so like-minded people @utopia @Former-Member @Zoe7 lol) can 'discuss/debate' their respective competitions in their preferred sport(s).

For those that are definitely NOT into sport @Phoenix_Rising for example - avoid this thread at all costs - whoops just tagged you in..........hahaha!!!!!

Hi. Is anyone watching Euro2020? I like that they stuck with the name even though it's been a battle to get the comp to this stage. Are you supporting Wales @MDT ? They've done so well.

I don't really have a strong leaning in terms of supporting a team, but I was just over the moon that Denmark made it through to the next stage. As a Spurs fan, and a human more to the point, I was quite emotional about Christian Erikson's collapse. It would be good to see some upsets in the knockout rounds! Hi @Zoe7 @Eve7 @Judi9877 @Emelia8

Yep sure have been watching the comp. Following Wales yeah. They've done well so far. Watching them really shows the different play styles in their respective leagues they play in. You can always see it in national squads where the players are spilt across leagues all over the world. But yeah they did well against Italy. Denmark game will be good. I have hopes Wales can win.
Yeah Erikson's collapse was a shock. Looks like he won't ever play again which is a shame. I had him in my old fifa team on xbox actually. He's a phenomenal player.
I think he will be missed.

I need a backup team too. Thinking maybe France or Germany. The times of the matches are hard as they are usually at 2am
