All Things Sport...

I will see who wins tomorrow before I make a decision @Emelia8 but sadly if it is the Bunnies in then I may be going for them ...but I change my mind every day so if your Raiders win tonight I may be on them too ....can't make up my mind LOL

I think tonight's game will be a cracker. Either side would be hard to meet in the GF. I would usually be barracking for Richmond but it is hard to know who would be easier to face if we did actually make it (of which I feel there is a very low chance of doing so).

Oh dear @Emelia8 I feel exactly the same about Eddie everywhere but I must say he has been a lot calmer this year so lockdown has had it's advantages lol I do think he is a really nice guy though - just wish he was a little less 'pathetic' about his team. There is passion and then there is tunnel vision - and he certainly has that.

Very much hoping it is a down week for Geelong but their stars certainly step it up in finals. I absolutely love watching them play when they get going (Dangerfield, Selwood and Ablett especially - real stars of the game).

I did not see the Bledisloe Cup - too much going on for me to even know it was on - but did see the replay - that final kick hitting the post was heartbreaking - but a draw is far better than they have done in NZ for soooo long so it is a win of sorts.

Just for us @Judi9877 ...

Hello @Zoe7 @Emelia8 @Eve7 @MDT @DJMasters @Scarecrowe and all sports lovers here.
It's Friday night and a bigfor me in terms of NRL with Melbourne Storm playing the Canberra Raiders. Go the mighty Melbourne Storm! Let's hope Cam Smiths last game is not tonight! I'd also like the Bunnies to win over the Panthers as I think the Panthers maybe too hard to beat in the big one next week.

As for AFL, I'm hoping my Brisbane Lions get over the cats and can celebrate the big one next weekend with a win at the Gabba! Go the Brissy boys! Oh, and I'd love it if Lachie Neale takes home the Brownlow as well on Sunday night! Wouldn't that be perfect @Zoe7 ? I also want Piet Adelaide to beat the Tigers as I want my Brissy Boys to give them a taste of what they did to us back in 2004, this time we celebrate loud and proud at our home ground!
Finally, I'm hoping that West Coast Fever win in the Suncorp Super Netball grand final on Sunday against the Melbourne Vixens. Oh, and @Emelia8 those girls who play in green just to match your green thing going on with the Raiders!

Gotta go and get ready to see Melbourne Storm win! May the best teams win! Gotta 💕sports🏆

💚💚💚💚💚

With you on Lions though. 🐆

Emelia 💕

I think Lachie may have quite a few votes taken off him by some of our other players this year @Judi9877 So whilst many think he is a shoe in to win - I am not so sure. It has been a wonderful team effort this year and that just may be reflected in the voting.

I am exactly the same as you - would love to play Port in the grand final and beat them to repay them for the 2004 final. I will also say we did not turn up that day at all though and did not deserve to even get close - so Port deserved the win ....but we have long memories hey.

Well ... I cannot watch the NRL any longer. My poor Raiders are gone! 2 early tries to Storm off fwd passes have Raders in disarray. And 2 more tries against them since. A very sad way for my Raiders to bow out. Really disappointed.

So Im switching to the AFL ... at least its a close contest.

Emelia

Hi all sports fans!
Half time score update for both NRL and AFL

Melbourne Storm are leading the Canberra Raiders 24-6 and it's 21 all for Port Adelaide and Richmond Tigers. Talk about a contest in the AFL! Yes, Melbourne have had it easy in the first half I will admit @Emelia8 .

Now, let's curl up for the 2nd half and hope that Port Adelaide do the job and beat those tigers! Oh, and the mighty Melbourne Storm remain mighty and rain on some Raiders!
