Sunday Coffee and Chat -- 19th October 2025

I feel like a truck has hit my face, then all the crash debris was shoved down my throat 🤣 @MissGremlin Im just hoping the covid doesn't become another chest infection. 😅

I went out on Wednesday for the first time in ages, and now I'm sick 😞 its as if I should just listen to the universe which doesn't want me to have fun, or leave my house.

Oh that's rough sweet, nothing worse than feeling like the universe is against us going out or having fun. I assure you it's not the case, it's just unfortunate that there's alot of bugs going around at the moment.

When i got my Positive covid test yesterday I made a joke about finally being positive about something on social media, and how it was just covid, but thats a start 🤣

I dont think i will ever lose my sense of humour at least, its brought me along thus far.

@The-red-centaur we need to have a good sense of humour, sometimes it can make those tough times a little easier.

That comment about being positive about something even if it is covid made me smile. Always gotta try to find the bright side of a crappy situation.

@MissGremlin yeh. I try to make some kind of punny joke about life, especially when I feel the world is getting darker.

I used to make jokes like: if you cant take a hard look at yourself and crack a joke you will probably just crack the mirror. And: the world will always find something to point and laugh at, so why not give them something to really laugh at, like yourself.

@The-red-centaur oh I hear you. For me I find it's a coping mechanism for when things get tough, I tend to make alot of jokes. Sometimes they can get a bit dark with my peculiar sense of humour 😂.
