Something’s not right

what else?

what else?

so.. just having this string of bad luck at the moment!

Son managed to somehow tip the printer off the back of the desk this week... had to replace as i use it most nights getting ready for work next day... I managed to hurt my arm at work in some weird way, Now tried to do the mowing and didnt see one of the kids knee pads and the elastic got caught in the blades and the engine went BANG 😞 what next? There's other stuff but not really able to say it all. Scared to do anything else lol! So.. guess this will expedite the process to finding a gardener for now.

Re: what else?

😘💜🤗 @Former-Member. It doesn't make it any less frustrating or infuriating though. I'm really sorry it's all happened. I hope your run of bad luck is over.

Re: what else?

hello @Baileyboy

oh my goodness, so if next door was set fire to, that would be arson and their insurance company would have had to cover that. i could continue something very wrong there. i will leave it alone, you dont need the memories.

I became so worked up about sorting house out for open yesterday and then another today. I ended up ringing up my son and asking if he minded postponing. I asked half a dozen times if he was upset. poor son. In the end I was told "no mum,. all good, I really am not upset". said he would use time catching up on his working out so felt a bit better about that. I am not telling anyone that I am going into hospital. Just not worth the angst, backwash, fallout. etc etc etc.

de-insected house, very clean perhaps too clean. People told agent lovely home, but too good to bring grandchildren in. I'm wondering does that mean we are over fussy? or what is behaviour of grandchildren like? my 2 cats distressed. hate open inspections because the cat tower moves into the garage. They see all the cleaning happening and know. Female cat hid in cupboard in office.

so same again today.

yesterday husband and I had late lunch, I am just so on edge. He told me when we got home that "sometimes I drive him insane", which of course I know I do. So I said not very nice thing to say to someone, disappeared, and sobbed my eyes out in thebathroom for about 10-15minutes.

He asked if I was ok when I came out, face told the story. I said no, broke down again and said it has hit home that my son will never be the same again. If I ever see him again he will be medicated, zombie or even more paranoid than now. I just cant deal with that. I feel so alone with all of this.

Re: what else?

@Former-Member Take care of yourself mohill. Time in hospital might take the pressure off and prepare you for what might be there when you return. Don't stress until you have to, that's what one of my good friend advises me. Too much overthinking gets me into trouble time and time again. And besides tears can do you good. They can release all that built up tension.

Of course we drive other people insane, they do the same to us, don't you think? It's part of peopledom (my new word)

Anyway let people know only what you want ghem to. That's your prerogative and it's you looking after you, keeping you safe and all of that. So dream a few good things and keep hold of that smile. It's needed. You are not alone.

Re: what else?

hello @Baileyboy

Thank you BB, yes that is my intention. Not hold on so tightly within safe walls. learn some strategies.

just be able to breathe, letting go

actually be there for myself, i have been so hard on myself for so long now. time to stop that nonsense.

peopledom - your new word, please share more. i am intrigued. i love people who think differently.

i will see if i can come up with some new words while i am staying at the resort. i will certainly have time.

might see if i can get some assistance from fellow travellers.

so watch this space for my return.

laugh i wont even remember where this space is tomorrow!

please do the @ mohill thing when you come up with some new words.

thankyou so much. I think I might have frightened everyone else away.

Re: what else?

Remember you @Former-Member that's the most important thing. But don't be scared to lose your anxiety about who you are. I will definitely watch this space for your return after you are RESORTIFIED. Massage your spirit and lubricate your soul.

It's easy for me to say don't worry but people only run from what they don't understand and once you have a hold on things others will begin to return to the fold.

I'll be working on creating a dictionary for new words while you are away, so take care mohill. Be thinking of you. Don't forget that..OK!

Re: what else?

oh @Former-Member its hard isnt it! i totally get it. i think you may have seen a few of my threads so i dont have to really tell you whats going on but just know i totally get it 🙂

how have you been coping with all these things? have you managed to get it all sorted or under control?

In response to: Re: what else?

Re: what else?

Hi @Former-Member Yes, a lot of it's sorted.. Got a gardener to come and finish the lawns for me this week. The other stuff will work out. Replaced the printer sigh!

Lots going on in the rest of my world (YIKES!) had a massive work week. No easy fixes there. And on my home/family life things have stalled... stuff thats all out of my control so trying to be patient, not get anxious etc...

Have felt good this week, but starting to feel the edges of over tiredness from work week and have a cold as well which is making me feel worse tonight! I'll live though! 😄

Hugs
