@Rhymster i remember you mentioning a while back that you had a professional you talked to, do you still talk to them?
if not, there are free services where you can talk through those thoughts and feelings, and they can provide you with support and resources:
talking through it can help with finding your triggers and maybe even creating some reframing thoughts to help out. have you tried grounding tools before? i know that grounding tools might not necessarily stop heavy thoughts, but it can help distract the mind a bit.

@rav3n I tried sharing something that happened when I was one and the bulk of it was edited out.

i hear you, sometimes we do have to edit things out to help meet our forums guidelines and ensure safety across the community. the forums aren't a counselling services, however, i do encourage you to reach out to the services i mentioned earlier as they can provide counselling support (and also 1800RESPECT is another service that specifically supports those who have experienced/is experiencing domestic family and/or sexual violence). @Rhymster
if you'd like to share your story on the forums again, you are welcome to do so too as long as it meets our guidelines. if you'd like some support around writing the post, you can always email team@saneforums.org a draft, and we can work with you to make it meet the guidelines.
