Thankyou @heartathome, it really does mean alot to hear you say that. That song came at a time where I lost a group of support within the last week. Things have been so incredibly hard and then that happening on top of things really just sent me into a spiral. Today was tough, I've had panic attacks, I've cried, I've had nightmares but I reached out to someone and in that moment they supported me, they went through a grounding exercise with me and showed love and care when it was needed most. Then at the end of the day I got to talk to an amazing friend of mine and she always makes me smile and feel loved. I'm exhausted and I'm very much feeling defeated but I'm taking things minute by minute ❤️.

@REDLINEZ750 nothing to be sorry for with your posts. We are here as a community to help support each other, and that inclhde supporting YOU too. 🥰. Absolutely understandable to be anxious and feel terrified. I wish I could bestow a sense of calm that pushes out all fear on you. If it were in my powers, i would. Deep breath. And slow pats of Pookie as you exhale (if he's nearby that is).

It probably will feel strange and uncertain at first - new things often do. But this doesnt mean that is a bad feeling or a bad thing. I am sure there will be extra support people around to help you especially during the first few days. And as soon as you are allowed (and want) to come online we will all be here waiting for you too to see how we can best support you, and of course also share in encouragement and celebration as you make progress in your recovery. 😊🤗.

New undies feel weird at first. But then you break them in, and they become the comfy ones ypu prefer. 😋

@MissGremlin *hugs*. I am so glad you reached out to someone for support (brave! Go you! 😍) and so glad they were receptive and listened and were supportive. 🥰. Also really glad to hear you have an amazing supportive friend and that you saw them today too and could smile and feel loved.

I know you will be able to continue to build new support networks again over time, but yes it is also painful to lose existing ones. Its OK to grieve that loss.

You seem a lovely a person, and I wpuld gladly know you more here and how I can help support you too (within my time permitting of course, but hoping that after xmas i will have more time available to support people online again). 🤗🥰

Thankyou @AlwaysMyself ❤️. It's never easy to reach out for support and in fact this person just knew that i was struggling and without a second thought she called to support me. My friend that I talked to at the end of the day wasn't in person (although we hope that someday it will be), but even when it's behind the screen or on a call it still means so much to have that connection.

At the moment building support networks brings up alot of emotions, I've been so hurt by what's happened. I haven't talked about it here but basically I've been labelled as a scammer in a group that I was in on Facebook, a group that was like a family, where I shared my poetry and had many close connections, I talked to people from there every day. But someone has ruined that for me and it's a pain like no other. I've tried to fix it, but when you are blocked and unable to contact anyone it makes it hard to resolve things. For now I'm just treasuring the very few people that I do have in my life even when they are only online and I'm grateful to have the community here for support.
