@tyme Monash just had a first year program which got momentum going early

Barely time to think "Wow, this is busy" and I'd dissociated 3 years away in the studio

It wasn't MY passion. It was pressure from family

Aww @DogMan79 . Sorry to hear that.

When I work with teens, I always tell them that it's important to follow what they want to do. Whilst family wish the best for them, I'm mindful of the effects pressure has on young minds when they are asked to do a course they don't want to do.

A lot of my school friends i grew up with, completed uni courses because their parents wanted them to do it... yet even now, none of them work in the field. It simply wasn't what they wanted!

Follow your dreams, right?

@DogMan79 not sure what VCA is.

I studied sound engineering at the WA Academy of Performing Arts. I did 2 years of a 3 year course. Had to quit for personal reasons.

I am doing a cert 3 in Business Admin - Records & Information Management. Once I have completed it I will then be doing Medical Records.

@AlwaysMyself thanks honey. I highly recommend HRT! As a friend of mine said when she was going through it, "the benefits far outweigh the possible risks." I am hoping and praying - a lot! - that the new HRT treatment will be better at cutting down the flushes and sweats.

CAT Psychiatrist this morning

Contemporary health care is so different to years ago. Lots of questions about what I think and opinions are few and far between

Nice young guy. I think I have older niblings

No changes, We agreed that my psychologist met a cranky Part of me in September who she'd never met f2f, that scared her and she referred me. But I came mostly back to baseline by the time I got in

He wants to organise NDIS. i have fought back against it for years. But since mum died it's increasingly looking like a necessary evil

MHFA Hearing Voices Zoom group tonight, if I can stay awake
