@Shaz51 i'm still pretty dowinsh and also nauseated at times today, and cannot be stuffed doing much. i did manage to cook some more food for the dogs. And i have also been installing and configuring games on my new Garuda installation, as well as done some scripting.

i just see the game called Broken Age sticking past my browser. Has anyone ever played that game? Or knows what this game is about? Many of the older grand kids loved playing it. A very cool theme i thought, watching the children play it.

And what about The Sims 4? i basically hate this game but the grand girls love it best of all. However to get The Sims 4 to run on Linux, and what is worse keep it running, is often a nightmare. Almost all window games can be played on Linux now but E.A games does not like Linux users, so almost all their games keep crashing and new patches/Scripts need to be made to get around their stuff ups.

Just got The Witcher 3 Complete edition REDDIT installed and running. Even i love playing this game at times. i love the awesome graphics at 4K ultra resolution.

@DownMoreThanUp I used to play the Sims4 and loved it! It's a very soothing game which suits me because I find I get very stressed playing a lot of other video games. I like to stick to ones that are either relaxing, or are open world and offer plenty of downtime between stressful battles like Zelda

There are support worker agencies that take scrap fabric too for arts and crafts and to create things to sell that take scrap fabric too.

Also various not for profit for the same reason

Church craft groups and community centres are normally after donations for their variety of projects...

I just accompanied a vulnerable older friend who is a great sewer. I just love the idea but she tried to get me to thread a needle and I just can’t see well enough. @Ru-bee but I can spread the message.

Thank you @avant-garde! I've never really considered that there would be place who would take it, I just keep it in my garage thinking maybe one day I'll need it for stuffing or something but now I'll have to look into local places that could use it!

Mental health hospitals too for their inpatient activities, also group programs such as art therapy.

I get rid of my craft supplies to these places and my local community centre have taken my extra fabric before

@Ru-bee Yes the grand kids think like you. They could play this game for hours. Such games are not my type of games any longer though. To much having to do things, or the game will go to sh... Years ago i did like playing warcraft 1, 2 and 3 with my sons at times. Especially number three we would link with our two son's computers and we have a ball together.

However after my first major psychosis i lost all will for gaming.

Yet lately i have began to play games again at times. i love flight simulators to relax with the best. i have Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020 as well as 2024. And also X-plane 10 and 11, as well as D.C.S World with a lot of community mods. i also like The Witcher 3, and CyberPunk 2077, just to see how far they got doing graphic and game play more than anything. i did get to the second map on Witcher 3 after 2 years stuffing around on the first map.

However i have to be reasonably well to be able to play games. And i haven't lately.
