I'm about to make myself a second coffee for the day. I almost bought myself a cheeky energy drink this morning on the way home from the gym but I hadn't brought my wallet with me which I thought was a sign that maybe I should just stick to coffees today 😅

@Ru-bee i'm on my first cuppa still. It has gone cold though, not that i mind. Was to nauseous to drink coffee first thing this morning. Luckily this has settled now.

I like me a bit a Floyd @DownMoreThanUp have seen that conspiracy theory YT. It did become a convenient way of jeering at others, by some people.

@GezzaP I did a political science major way back. I think it taught me respect for eco/geo/historical/political realities, and a healthy respect for what we do not actually know. I focused on theory, psychoanalysis, power and art. It was a bit before all the conspiracy theory stuff came out. Glad my academia was not dominated by American politics, cos it is too much in current media and my in laws gave me too much and conflated too much with soft power ploys, and overstepped many boundaries. Yeah the US has had significant influence in the world, but we don’t wanna give them too much attention or they might get a swollen head. I am lucky to be alive to tell the tale.

@Appleblossom A political science major? i'm sure we can share lots of insights, i was taught to critically analyse my society, a very interesting skill to have,🤔 as i have not been asleep since.😝

I was doing earth science before that, but somehow my destiny (and course options) necessitated those choices. I don’t regret my study.

I worked in 3 government departments before and whilst studying as a mature age. Money in.. and money out… and arbitration… plus other sectors…
