I've had a good day today. I went to an animal rights Opp shop nearby and told them I'd volunteer for a couple of hours a week. The whole getting out by myself is the big thing!! I went downtown to get some photocopying done and while I was down there, I picked up my Meals on Wheels (I don't like cooking), did a little shopping and went to a cafe for a coffee and read the photocopying. I'm amazed that I did so much! Normally I'd go directly home but I know I need to try something different to combat the loneliness and anxiety. Connection is something that I was missing. I feel like I'm beginning to connect with others on here! I'm going for a walk around the block now. 🙃

Morning @heartathome it sounds like you had a really good day yesterday! It sounds awesome the things you did a balance or productivity and little comforts like coffee and shopping, then a walk around the block, I love evening walks, one of my favourite things to do!

@Chasingsunsets I've only offered a couple of hours per week. I want to start off slow rather than telling them that I can't do the hours. I'm at the mental hub having a barbecue atm. Next Friday is the final day. I lock myself in of a night to keep myself safe. Do you walk a dog of a night or go by yourself?

@heartathome Rejoice with me i've been having a much better day than they have been lately. Yesterday was already much better but today has turned out to be even more relaxing and productive.

I generally walk my girl of an evening don’t go on any walk without her with me 😊, just in time to watch the sunset if I go to the beach 😊. But we do street walks, parks where ever really 🐶, she’s good for me too gets me out two so we are good for each other 🙏
