I finally said ‘no’ to something at work. I did feel some initial guilt and anxiety about it (I usually say yes and take on more than I can handle) but it’s made me feel a lot better, like I have some breathing space, so no regrets.

I hope you all have something to celebrate. If nothing else, let’s celebrate the fact that we can be here for each other, in some small but not insignificant way.

@rav3n I'm really proud of you for prioritising your wellbeing and taking a much needed break!

A small but meaningful win for me recently was being brave and seeing a new GP at a new practice, it was quite a scary idea due to past negative experiences with other GP's, but I actually had such a positive experience and I can't believe I'm saying this but I'm genuinely excited to go back there!

After quitting a job earlier this year due to a combination of unsustainable toxic work environment and needing to provide additional support at home, I signed a contract this week for a full time job.

While I have enjoyed the casual work we have been blessed with, I am looking forward to this new challenge and opportunity.

Some risk involved dialing back on the 'hand holding' but a win win for capacity building.
