I know the feeling... I had to leave so much behind when escaping both times from my family...

I have been homeless multiple times also...

I hear you, I've lost so much from having to run from dangerous situations. So many treasured items left behind that are irreplaceable 💔.

I haven't been homeless but where I had to stay to escape was far from ideal and caused more harm than good.

I'm sorry you've had to experience so much trauma.

It's nice to have someone who understands... even though it's a feeling you hate to understand...

@avant-garde that's a tricky question for me, whilst I'm somewhat safe I'm always having to watch my back. So yes I do feel like I'm forever running 💔.

It is nice to have someone that understands but you're right it's not a feeling we or anyone should have to understand.

Me too, always having to be careful, where I go, what time... I've felt safer since legally changing my name years ago... but never truly safe... but I have a church that loves and protects me and at least they try and understand even though they're not that great at it.

It's why I called my story thread on here "running"

It's exhausting though, the resilience it takes just to feel safe...
