No tto drag this fur baby thing out at all friends🤣 but i will share the best part of Zeus with you. (i hope the mods do not mind me telling you this.)
For me, Zeus turned out to be real life therapy for me!
For when he was 4 months old, and i was playing with him, he growled for the first time. Now i had been struggling with aggressive feelings all that night, it gave me a little fright at the time and before i knew it, i growled back at him, a really menacing grow it was too!😡 However Zeus loved me doing that, and roared back his own already vastly improved on his first growl back at me. And so i learned, all playing wise, to be in an aggressive mood without feeling guilty, ashamed, and bad about myself.
i'm crying just telling you this, but it was awesome to be able to growl my worst aggressive feelings, and be loved for it instead of feared and hated - by myself the most!
And so i learned to be aggressive, without loosing control, or feeling bad about who i was, when aggressive. Over the months that followed all my stored up anger evaporated, simply playing with my dog. At times many times a day, for i just let it go when i realised how good it felt to release my often uncontrollable inner tensions, through our growling game. Until in the end my 'raging alter' united with the rest of myself, and i could begin to accept myself in my formerly raging self as myself for the first times in my life. i have never raged again since then, though Zeus and me still love to growl. Isn't that amazing?
The only negative?
When Zeus wants attention for people he growls his worst growls, and everyone (strange) is scared of him thinking he is going to devour them, while all he is trying to do is calling them to come and growl with him. For he loves growling together that very best!
True story of me and my dog.
