Spring has well and truly sprung in our pocket of the world.
Time to get the garden looking springy
Today our veggie patches are getting a decent fill with compost and a redo, ready for the tommies which is our biggest grower and of course our zucs, cucumbers, and all the fun things
At one point over the summer last year we were picking tomatos 10 a day.
The Rural garden supply loves to see me!!

@AlwaysMyself I love the colours of your flowers. I ordered some lilies from Tesselaar and can't wait for them to arrive! Everything has to be quarantined to come in to WA so I think that's what is taking my order so long to arrive. I'm not very patient when it comes to plants, I want them now!!
My gerberas have stopped flowering, about the only plants I have that are flowering at the moment are my begonia and anthurium. I'll get some photos to share 🙂
You have a green thumb, judging by the healthy looking flowers. That gerbera colour is gorgeous.

Thanks @Snow_Leopard & @ENKELI . I wish I could claim the green thumb for myself, but alas I cannot. That is my mother's gift. My plants are cared for by her 😂. Even when I was living separate, my place did not have enough light in the courtyard and I had to send my plants to her house for rehab lol. That gerbra plant is about 13 years old now - I am proud of it. My best friend gave it to me. It is a confused plant - it even flowers in winter 😅.
I did not know all plants had to be quarantined to come into WA from the rest of Aus @ENKELI . Interesting! I knew fruit plants often do due to fruit fly (I grew up in SA, so I knew that one well lol. Learned about insects in apricots after moving to NSW as a child). Hope your new plants arrive soon. 🙂

@AlwaysMyself yes we can't bring anything in to WA. I dated a guy from Adelaide and he wanted to bring his favourite honey back to Perth. I warned him not to. He was not happy when it was confiscated at the airport when he returned to WA.
My colleague and I got stopped by the sniffer dogs when we came back from a work trip to Melbourne. We forgot we'd taken apples from the plane. Those little Beagles were relentless!
