@tyme No, gastro is the worst. Hope they are all better now?

It must be great to spend time with them 🙂

Re: Saturday Soiree - 13th September 2025

Hi @tyme @Shaz51 and everyone here this afternoon. What a lot of different activities forumites have got planned and have been doing today- I’m impressed!

As for me, I’ve been cross stitching a clown fish bookmark- reminds me of the clown fish I saw at the Cairns Aquarium on a recent cruise ship holiday- and am now working on an adult knitted jumper for charity. Tonight, it’s stress for at least 2 hours with me watching my Brisbane Lions take on the Gold Coast Suns at the Gabba for a chance to progress to week 3 of the AFL finals to play Collingwood next week. Go the Lions! Tomorrow will be spent packing for a 4 day escape to Echuca leaving on Monday to either celebrate the lions win or enjoy Mad Monday along the Murray River. At least the Melbourne Storm won last night in the NRL and have next week off!

Enjoy the rest of your Saturday!

Hi @GezzaP I'm going ok. Picked up mum and took he down the street.

Have just been laying on the couch.

I can't say if ECT would help you, I guess I can only give my lived experience of it. For me it has helped. Problems aren't solved, but at least I haven't been made to go back in.

Hi @Shaz51 I'm trying not to fall asleep next to the dog. I wish I could just sleep that easily!

@RebelliousAngel I'm glad you have someone with you for support.

Sounds like you've been busy @Judi9877, well especially your fingers. Would love to see a pic of the final product (if it doesn't break your privacy)

Re: Saturday Soiree - 13th September 2025

ECT worked for me before years ago but the reason I’m down is still there so don’t know if it would work this time.

Not good to sleep in the daytime as it’ll keep you up at night. Even though sleep is an escape from the anguish.

Know what you mean about animals. My cat is asleep on my lap. Hoping she will go out again so she doesn't have to use kitty litter tonight. I hate having to clean up the mess in the morning.
