What has been your highlight today, no matter how big or small? Come share 🫶

Hi everyone! This is my first ever forum post so do hope it lands where it’s meant to 🤣

Most days, I like to find a highlight 😊. Usually, that means during a walk with my dog, I try to spot something different, something cool or something that brings me some happiness. Whether it’s something big or small, it doesn’t matter. A highlight can be anything!

I love taking photos and would really like to share and see what you've come across. Something that made you smile, sparked your interest, or simply caught your eye. For me, it’s all the little things that count on the hard days.


To start, I’d like to share these beautiful birds I came across today. They like to appear like branches of a tree or the tree itself. They are called Tawny Frogmouth’s. Has anyone else seen these types of birds? My pics below -(hopefully not too small to see two in the tree on the left pic).

I've got yoga today and some financial stuff to sort out, otherwise no commitments

Thanks @Taali You too. Home today. Going to leave early so no driving in dark after work.

Nothing 'locked in' for work next week.

Seeing subject head about that today.

Might go 2 days or take week off for a reset .

Bit worried about work dates and cenno if they ever get around to putting me on books

They stated going to fudge dates to after contract signed.

Worst case is lose dole/big hassle, could pay too much tax if get double paid etc.

Maybe easier to stop racking up 'ghost days' and let them catch up.

Told them that last week then saw subject guy and said 'yes' to more days..

Yum! Banana bread! I also love banana bread!😋. Yeah my Sunday and Monday were okay feels like it was far away now 🤣. Managed to get my car serviced which is good I had been meaning to for so long.

Yesss I’d love if our dogs could live as long as us. She’s definitely aged in her looks now makes me so so sad. Not sure what I’ll do without her to be honest.

physio went ok, pretty tired afterwards. Still learning the reformer 🤣. Ah my shop lol. It’s alight I asked them the latest I need to pick it up by and they said next week so I’ll deal with it then 🙈.

Hello @DownMoreThanUp I've never used Linux. Been with Apple when I first bought a computer. Spying can be a problem but I like the easy user interface as I'm not that proficient with technology. I had another plan in mind which you have reminded me to follow up on.

A few weeks ago I watched a presentation on a VPN that hospitals, government and the military use because its impossible to break into. Its the only VPN that people cant spy on. I used to be with Brave as a search engine and a VPN and even that was unreliable.

They also have an e-mail with this new VPN company I am going to try - you can use which is far superior to proton which I thought was relatively safe but apparently its not!

Thank you for giving me that reminder. Next DSP payment I'm going to get this VPN

I started a dbt group in Liverpool today run by three provisional psychologists.

It's my first time doing DBT, as it is a instructive course that usually uses a group setting to teach the skills.

This lead me to trying to name my emotions.

And lead me to a page in brene browns "atlas of the heart"

Funny how the Bible says be perfect like your father in heaven is perfect, And brene brown (Dr Brown?) attacks that idea.

It shows how the Bible is trying to say something but taken too literally....we can become poisoned by the idea of perfectionism.

What Paul and Holy Spirit is saying and the problems of modern life require different contexts.

We should be something

We shouldn't hurt ourselves trying to imagine what others think or our critical sinful minds think
