@Chasingsunsets @REDLINEZ750 🤭 cats milk lol.
I will let you know if I make another batch of ice cream sometime and what flavour I choose. Sometimes I like to experiment, and sometimes I just want to do something I know will work well lol.
@Chasingsunsets 😅 love that story from your friend lol. 🤣 poor thing that would have been stressful losing the screw inside it and not able to get it out.
A few weeks ago I bought a metal clothes rack, which had a shelf at the bottom. Luckily I wasnt planning to use the shelf (although I think it would aid the legs stability which would be good), because the shelf is about 1-2cm too short in length to reach between the legs where it is meant to go!! I am yet to take a photo and sent it to the company for their manufacturing awareness. The screws to secure it in place are not long enough to bridge the shortage of length as a work around either. If I went to bunnings and bought longer screw bolts for that work around it might work, will see in time if I can be bothered. I guess if I go to get a new bolt and nut for yesterday's construction then I may as well do both.
I like that mass production has made furniture things more affordable. But the poorer quality is a real issue now days - like its gone too far.
My clothes rack was cheap ($30), but my yesterday's construction was RRP $650 and a brand I chose to pay a bit more for being of quality and durable materials so that was a bit disappointing that its less Quality Assured than in the past.
I dont mean this is a complaining way! Just an observation reflection way. 😊 if I had this piece made from scratch (not factory) by a local im sure it would cost me over $1000 and be unaffordable.
My highlights... earlier in the week I had a nice dinner with a friend. Yesterday I met with a dog walker and my dogs liked them (one of my dogs can be unsure of some people so it wasnt a given that he would be fine) - now to organise a schedule for them to walk the doggos.
And today... I dont have to go out anywhere if I dont want to (i do need the chemist, but I can do it tmrw instead if I want). So mix of house chores interspersed with gnome painting i think.
And tomorrow's highlight?
Its the annual Global Greyhound Walk day! Once a year all over the world people walk their greyhounds (and other sighthounds in my case) and each group count and submit numbers of how many greyhounds and other sighthounds did a walk.
I dont want to pick any specific state's page to link to general info about what it is, so here is the UK one cos I couldnt find an Aus-wide one lol.
https://greatglobalgreyhoundwalk.co.uk/
It gives an idea of the global event.
And for those without dogs who just want a walk - yes any humans are welcome to join! Just google your local area and "global greyhound walk" to see if/where there is one near you tomorrow. 😊 greyhounds often love pats.
