What has been your highlight today, no matter how big or small? Come share 🫶

Hi everyone! This is my first ever forum post so do hope it lands where it’s meant to 🤣

Most days, I like to find a highlight 😊. Usually, that means during a walk with my dog, I try to spot something different, something cool or something that brings me some happiness. Whether it’s something big or small, it doesn’t matter. A highlight can be anything!

I love taking photos and would really like to share and see what you've come across. Something that made you smile, sparked your interest, or simply caught your eye. For me, it’s all the little things that count on the hard days.

To start, I’d like to share these beautiful birds I came across today. They like to appear like branches of a tree or the tree itself. They are called Tawny Frogmouth’s. Has anyone else seen these types of birds? My pics below -(hopefully not too small to see two in the tree on the left pic).

@Chasingsunsets right now I'm feeling a bit tired and have had a good nap within the past 2+ hours after I came back home + had an online session - so yeah, needed a rest after a bit of a long day today 🙂

I need to go and pick up the cooked food from my parents house tomorrow morning so thats the first thing I'll be doing tomorrow.

My highlight has been the colour of the moon recently!! Has anyone else seen it? Anyone else got pics of it? So red/ orange, just beautiful 🤩☀️

I can imagine @Blackcloud, I was also pretty tired today didn’t do much but had a decent nap too haha.
ohh I wonder what they cooked for you? Cooked food from home is the best!!

My highlight today was that I got a new couch delivered. I haven’t bought a new couch since I was feeding my babies. They are all adults now, so it has been longer than 25 years ago. The couch arrived at 8:30am though and I was in the shower when hubby came in and told me the men were arriving in 10 minutes. Not ideal
