@Appleblossom I'm sorry to hear that you were mistreated in your course, particularly a course in which the course coordinator should have had knowledge about diversity and inclusion. I've found that disability workers are often so ableist and patronising. I think you did the right thing leaving the course, it sounds like an unhealthy environment.

I'm sorry to hear of your difficulties with your son. With bad marriages, children tend to express the anger towards the parent who they feel the most secure with. Children (even in adulthood) often feel the need to supress their anger towards a parent who triggers feelings of insecurity, so they express this anger towards the parent who made them feel more secure. Maybe a lot of your son's anger is actually about what the other parent did? I don't know your history, but often one person's anger isn't the whole story. Unfortunately, therapy and a good education often don't re-direct the anger to the correct person.

How did you go with your embroidery? Creative projects can be really healing for interpersonal struggles. It can help give a sense of self-belief.

Yeah, just let your younger brother do the showing off. You don't have any obligation to someone who gave birth to you and then actively harmed you throughout childhood. The act of giving birth doesn't give anyone some kind of magical entitlement over another human being. You only have a duty to parents who actually behaved the way that parents should.

I like the dog teasing programme, I find it very satisfying. Each time I go into a dollar shop I think I'll buy one squeaky toy for Nige Numptys' pleasure. I haven't seen any squeakers at the op shop bro works at but then I wasn't really looking. Next time I'm there I'll check.

I had a playdate with bestie at Funnings yesterday. Who knew 3 hours could pass that quickly? Unfortunately I was too busy yapping to notice I'd picked up 4 bags of mulch instead of potting mix. I can't be bothered returning them and I can use the mulch, it just means another Funnings trip. Oh no, how will I ever cope? 😁😂

Haven't had much good sleep the last few nights and now I am falling asleep on my keyboard. The silly thing is, I want to go to Funnings and pick up the potting mix even though I don't consider myself awake enough to drive. Why is it when I am falling-asleep-fatigued that I want to work in the garden?!

Retiisi my darling, no one has videos or DVDs anymore. We’re all hooked up to Apple TV or Google Play etc.

It frees up a lot of space in the house. No need for those chunky entertainment units.
