What has been your highlight today, no matter how big or small? Come share 🫶

Hi everyone! This is my first ever forum post so do hope it lands where it’s meant to 🤣

Most days, I like to find a highlight 😊. Usually, that means during a walk with my dog, I try to spot something different, something cool or something that brings me some happiness. Whether it’s something big or small, it doesn’t matter. A highlight can be anything!

I love taking photos and would really like to share and see what you've come across. Something that made you smile, sparked your interest, or simply caught your eye. For me, it’s all the little things that count on the hard days.


To start, I’d like to share these beautiful birds I came across today. They like to appear like branches of a tree or the tree itself. They are called Tawny Frogmouth’s. Has anyone else seen these types of birds? My pics below -(hopefully not too small to see two in the tree on the left pic).

Awesome @AlwaysMyself in Borneo hey! I wonder what ones they have there!! I’d love to go to Borneo and see the orangutans 🦧 actually, I remember watching a show on Stan I loved it! Of an orangutan sanctuary/ rehab step by step to get them back to the wild. Such a good doco

Ohh the kookaburras are funny aren’t they pretty smart work in a team and you see three and the forth steals the chip out you hand 😂😂😂. They are such pretty birds and I love there calls!!

@Chasingsunsets I’m so glad you said I can come here even with no highlights. I love the geckos they’re beautiful animals.

I don’t have anything on today. I’m experiencing severe panic attacks and will be home.

@Chasingsunsets My team beat the Brisbane Broncos 26 to nill.

This is the first year in about 3 years that Penrith have not lost any players to other teams. So, I think they are going to be a hard team to beat this year.

And you know what, perhaps something here might be just want you needed in some way, and if that happens my intentions for the page have also been met 🌻🙏 It’s awesome to see you around that’s for sure!


Sorry about the panic attacks, I wonder what you find helps ease them? I find ice packs can help me 🧊, the forum helps me too💜. Me I’m just about to take a nap actually try catch up on some sleep 😊

@Chasingsunsets i just read your piece about the ice packs for panic attacks to my partner since he came home from work early on Friday as he had a panic attack brought on by his boss. He would like to know where you place the ice pack that helps you?

you will be in my thoughts and prayers as I'm sure you will be in many others.

i always enjoy hearing from you and i apologise for being out of touch with your current situation.

your highlight of today can be large or small and being ab le to share your struggles in an environment like this page safely with only understanding support and no judgement is a highlight my friend.

many times my highlight has simply been posting on @Chasingsunsets page and feeling less alone in isolation myself.

Funny you should mention geckos... once, one snuck into my house one summer's night and as I was watching TV, it slowly crept it's way out from behind my father's guitar case and perched it's self, effortlessly, on the wall.

Out from the corner of my eye... I noticed a figure, imprinted on the wall, like a stamp.. as I drew my gaze away from the tv.. there it was, in it's dark green glory.. a common house gecko.

I screamed! 🤣, I was merely 18, unsure of what this gecko would require of me. So I called my uncle, a massive nature lover, to help me carrel the cheeky gecko back into it's natural habitat.

A scary, but funny memory, now I look back at it
