My highlight for yesterday was that my little girl Hannah 🐕 had her Assistance Dog Public Access Test ... and passed with flying colours 🎉

She is now a fully accredited AD, and I'm super proud of her 💞 She did so well, a real little pro.

Thank you for responding to my highlight. We were asked to create a piece that symbolise our life story, it could reflect something positive or negative, as long as it represented you as an individual.
There were so many materials to choose from, I don't think I have never walked into a room with so much diverse materials. You could pick whatever you wanted to create, which was great because then it removed the pressure of everyone having to create the same type of artwork.

I chose to create a piece that represented my inner child, the part of me that was once creative, curious, happy and loved being crafty. I made a collage using a diverse of materials to capture that playful and imaginative side of myself. 😊

It felt unreal yesterday, I sometimes can’t even understand how I ended up being this brave. Looking back, many, many years ago, I would have thought this could never ever happen. I believe in you. Maybe just to keep an eye out if there’s anything like this, or something that sparks your interest, in your community. You don’t have to take the step right away, but simply being aware that it exists can be a start. One day, you might feel ready to come along, and I’ll be cheering you on.💛

Thank you so much. Since joining this group, I’ve felt encouraged to notice my highlights more regularly, whether small or big. It’s been a positive little change in my day-to-day life, especially on tough days, to pause and think of something I’m grateful for. It’s also good to read others’ highlights and feel that we’re moving forward together even in the toughest times.

I’ve especially found that focusing on small steps helps me minimise catastrophising and giving in to the anxiety that things won’t work out. Breaking things down makes me feel more confident, it really does help for me.
