My highlight today was going for a walk even though it was raining with my mum. We used an umbrella and chatted about life and all my worries. Nothing quite beats telling your troubles to your mumma. In that moment I realised how lucky I am to have such a good relationship with my mumma ❤️ We made a plan about what I would eat tomorrow morning for breakfast to encourage more motivation to eat..

It will be peanut butter on whole meal toast 😋

I remember back in the day when I had money and had a house, I ordered a 3/4 sized pool table for the family room, and I had to have the cloth and my pool cue in dark green so it would match my curtains. Lol when I said that, the guy I was ordering it from gave my husband at the time a funny look. He wanted blue, but that would totally ruin the look of the room.

People were nice to me at church today. At a genuiine level. Not just superficial politeness. About 6 people. More .people than ever before in my life. I have never really had a birthday party or anything. It has been very slow to feel accepted anywhere. Forums were the first place.

@Appleblossom that is great that you have found a place where people are not superficial and are genuinely nice people. That is hard to find these days (except here of course). I am so happy for you.

this morning we took Peanut for a walk.

I saw my exhusbands sister and mother. The mother nodded her head and walked away

sister says she hates you because she thinks you are only my husband’s friend so you can get the house he’s being left in the inheritance when she dies.

then she launched into complaining about my ex husband and she hasn’t seen him for months and the last time she saw him she sat and told me all his shortcomings for 2 days and my ex just sat there and said to me “Her mental health is not good. Just let her talk.

I really struggle with my mental health seeing my youngest brother obviously trying to get my mums home and now this. I really struggle with my mental health because this new medication I’m taking has knocked out what motivation I had.
I can cancel her my ex sister -

but my head injury issues are affecting me.

@Blackcloud I hope you find a way that works. I think the words they use are psychology for "capacity building". See if the senior coordinators can give you advice on the exact right wording.

@PeppyPatti I'm sorry to hear you're having to deal with your mother's health crisis. I don't like my mum either, she was very mean and manipulative towards me when I was a child. I don't think very much of people who treat children like she did.

I didn't like the word "complex" being used to describe your situation either for what it's worth. At the same time though, having to care for a parent who you don't like doesn't have a simple straightforward solution. I don't think it's wrong to say this is a complicated problem, so maybe that was what was meant. I think I'm too used to the way "complex" is used in mental health services to have an entirely different meaning attached to it.

Today is not too bad. I am trying to do my Comedy homework, like a good girl. Not sure its gonna make me funny though. LOL

Sorted a few things.

@Ruby26 hearing you about the way the word COMPLEX is being used. I was studying a Masters in Diversity and Inclusion, and the course co-ordinator used it in a patronising way to me. I finished my subject and left the course. It had been worth spending the time looking at UN human rights concepts. I found her unable to see her field from more than a very narrow minded POV. Sometimes I am celebrating my complexity. It gave me a broad lens to view the world. They were not getting more of my HECS dollars. Sadly in Mental Health the damage can be worse.
