I feel my relationship with my mother is not complex but she is a bad mother and always has been but by no measure the worst.

leaving my psychotherapist after 22 years has come as a huge surprise for me to do it -

im going to email her tomorrow to ask her to refer me to someone.

Sorry to hear that you have had to deal with your Mum. That can’t be easy when you have a difficult relationship with her. Guess what? I don’t like my Mother either, she also was not good at it.

My highlight today was going into university to get some issues figured out. I got my math units approved and I dropped some units so I could just start part time. I plan to study full time from next year. I also applied for scholarships. I feel like I have walked backwards and forwards around the whole campus 3 times but that will be good for my step count lol. I am just having to wait till 3:30pm to get my student card sorted out.

@heartathome great shot! I'm not much of a beach goer but I did enjoy house sitting for my aunt when she lived across the road from the beach in Geraldton. Just after my cousin (her son) passed away she was looking out in the ocean and saw a dolphin, she felt it was a sign from him.

I'd love to live closer to nature, I really think it would help me mentally and physically.

The dolphin was going so slow @Chasingsunsets but was still hard to capture it with my phone! I feel like I've got the photo to prove 'my catch' now. 😁 It was SO close that I felt that feeling of exhilaration again!! That's twice in two weeks, both times because I decided to take myself for a walk!! Cool, hey!

My day's been good. I went to my usual bible study this morning which is also an outing for me and a time to connect and share with others. I feel very blessed to be supported on here and by a few close friends and my psychiatrist.

This afternoon I've started to look at having a couple of days away for my birthday next month. Just looking (at the moment) but it's exciting even thinking about it! I have a goal to work towards, and it feels good!
