@TAB he did stop for six months. I might have a word with his boss. The reason he stopped drinking was because of a bet with his boss.

At least I have got him to stop drinking Wild Turkey. He would get really nasty when he drinks that, and it has ended in me having SI because of what he was saying to me.

I really need to have a serious talk with him about it. Because I am sick of hearing the horrible stuff he says while drunk, and then the next day he behaves as if nothing was said, and I am left with the feeling and emotions. And then he wonders why I don't seem my normal affectionate self.

I wont go into it too much or you might blame the messenger.It's still abuse even if it's not physical.

I have the confidence to say something if someone is not respecting my boundaries or me. I am not afraid to have my own opinion and voice it now. I used to be such a people pleaser, but I can now put my own self-care and priorities ahead of other people.

I'm glad you're proud of putting your boundaries in place and am not afraid to have your own opinions anymore. It's great that you've finally found your voice!

It must be hard to listen to your partner say hurtful and horrible things when drinking to excess. I'm sorry that you still experience that!

I'm getting my hair done in Friday at 3 pm.

My other rang me twice today. She usually doesn't call me so I'm wondering what she wants.

I sacked my psychotherapist last week. I'm feeling quite empty but proud of myself for staying on top. I saw her for 25 years no sorry - 22 years.

I feel that I don't want to listen to her go on and on how many people hold her in high regard. When your a nothing like me - It gets a bit tedious listening how good she is......

@Chasingsunsets I just found this wonderful thread. I love things that celebrate 'small' things. Each morning I make a coffee and then I sit in front of my computer and the first thing I do is note something I achieved yesterday, no matter how small, especially if it was hard. The first thing I noted was I bought a car. I knew that five minutes after I did it, the weeks of anxiety leading up to it would be forgotten, so I wanted to note it somewhere. Sometimes it's I had a shower or took the rubbish out. I think my only requirement is it had to feel difficult and like an achievement. Sometimes it takes me a minute to think of something I did but there's almost always something

I think if a doctor is that good, then they don't need to constantly say it! It's a shame because you've been seeing her for so long, but it sounds like you're doing okay. Did you tell her why you were sacking her?
