I’m getting there, ok days and other not ok.

i started seeing new psychologist in early December last year and have seen her twice so far. She has a different approach that the previous one, sitting more comfortable too.

my pain management Dr last year gave me the details of new psychiatrists working in my area. I have initial appointment with psychiatrist in June. I initially had some concerns about parking when attending the appointments. Have found out she only does Telehealth appointments.

she seems well organised. On day initial appointment booked I received few emails from her, one containing new patient information questionnaire to complete. Questions asked for info about current meds including vitamins, various general MH related plus what I would like to get out of appointments.

ive also emailed her spreadsheet which summaries my life and trauma events. Reply email received thanking me and mentioning spreadsheet info will be very helpful.

activities where I live mainly run from early Feb to end November. I’m looking forward to getting back to croquet plus am going to try to get to couple other activities (maximum 4 activities each week). Little challenge set by my new psychologist that I’ve agreed to try to do to help me break away from self isolating 6 days a week

I feel there is something about being set challenges by a psych, I love learning new things and challenging myself. How do you feel about it. Can be a bit rough at times too so hope you are feeling ok about what’s been set for you 🙏

going ok here thanks for asking! You have me thinking about my next month of two it’s not often I think that far in front but I like the question hehe. I actually don’t have a lot on to be honest haha, I have to make more plans and get back to you on that one hehe🫶☀️💜

Aw @Ru-bee your lil cav sounds perfect!! What a beautiful colour he is!! Oh yes my girl keeps me on my toes had a Kelpie mix before her too, definitely never a dull moment in fact she is still placing a ball in my lap while I am sitting on the couch 😂.

yeah unfortunately the felt on the tennis balls isn’t good for them apparently, my girl loves them so much that she knows there smell so sometimes I don’t bring a ball so she goes and does something else and she’ll find one or even just the felt or the plastic and will bring it for me throw 😂. Can’t take the ball out of the dog lol 🐾🐶

I definitely agree with you about nature feeling grounding! Aw the black cockatoos are really beautiful!! I get what you mean by the sound they make!! I love the bush turkey call and the pheasant coucal but also the fig bird 🤭😅 too many to choose 🤣. I also love the green tree frogs croaking and the geckos 🤣. There really are too many to choose from 🤣🤣

This will be third year I will have played croquet @Chasingsunsets Is mainly a social game. This is a competition that quietly runs along in the background. Mix of the competition and technique aspects that really keep me going each week.

Comment by therapist was along the lines of…. How about setting challenge to do one or 2 more things each week and see how that feels.

afternoon trivia is once a month, I’ve been to first one.

game that I’ve watched and has me intrigued, Mexican Trains, is played one afternoon each week. Something called Drumming exercise has me intrigued also.

I live in 55+ lifestyle village which has its own cinema. Movie The Choral playing this afternoon which I’m going to watch

spreadsheet was idea from person on BB which I drew up couple years ago and gave to therapist and psychiatrist I was seeing at that time. So much easier than sitting in appointment and trying to remember what happened when

That's a really good shot! I don't think I have seen the purple one, I may have to google, and I'll get back to you about it. I like to look at frogs, but not too close, I feel like they want me to join in, in a staring contest. I remember when I travelled up to the far north queensland once and went to a public toilet, there was a green frog there and it was just sitting there starring at me the whole time, almost looks like they are smiling sometimes. 😊
