The guy in the photo is a guy i met online @PeppyPatti (not a dating app). It was a risk because it was the first time meeting him in person! He is a very genuine and respectful man!

I was in Kempsey (I don't live anywhere near there) on the mid north coast. We live a long way from each other so don't know if or when I'll meet him in person again, but we talk most days on the phone which is really nice!

The moderators took the photo down in case he's recognisable. 💚

I was surprised that the photo got approved initially because there was a human in the frame! Even though not identfiable really other than "a human" lol. Good precaution to take it down. You could crop out the person from it (or black it out) and repost if you felt like it i reckon 😊.

I was wondering if you may have been visiting a certain friend 😉 🤭🙊🤐🤫.

Are you spending some extra time up there to also relax and enjoy the area?

One of my friends grew up there and really likes it 😊, still goes back for holidays to visit family.

I don’t actually know how long it takes for them to turn into frogs, it changes and has a lot to do with water temp and availability of food. Last year and this years round I haven’t been watching as closely as other years but if you are interested I can try find some pics of the tadpoles and different stages and share with you. All super interesting!

@AuntGlow! How are you going lovely? Feel like it’s been ages 🥹, hope you have been well 🙏. I have not heard of or tried Alo Moves! It sounds good though I just did a quick google! Ohh yeah I get what you mean re costs and on a money saving spree. PT was pretty expensive so had been thinking I’ll break from that. Was looking into gyms but not sure if I have found what I want/need yet hard to come back from personal training 😂. Classes I just don’t think are my thing since PT, so it was a blessing and a curse starting PT I think haha. But at least it got me moving I guess. Keen to check out Alo Moves though! Thanks for sharing!! 😊.
Yeah got a few more questions re how things will look for you on the forums this year. [edit add of text- wondering if it’s your choice or Sane’s re stepping back (you don’t have to answer this), I must say it been pretty noticeable your absence I’d have to admit, I haven’t even been able to get on much at all due to a couple of things but your absence I have felt like a couple of bowling balls thrown in my direction 😂🎳, just the changes in how people operate or their routine, I tend to notice. Your presence and input on the whole forum since I have been here has been amazing. So thanks, it been lovely to be apart of.] It’s been an interesting couple of days/weeks for me, not sure when it started but it’s ok been here before so all good. Just got to ride the waves I guess.

It was just an overnight stay. 24 hours.

All I can say about meeting the friend is that you could be right or wrong! 🤭☺️ It was well worth the trip! I lived at South West Rocks (near Kempsey) for about three years in the 80's and worked at a little supermarket. It was a lovely little coastal town back then. Bet it's grown out now! 💜
