My highlight today was going out for lunch with a group of 29 from my mental health organisation. I got lots of presents despite saying to everyone that I didn’t want anything. My support worker and her sister, who is also a support worker, bought me Peter Alexander ‘Wicked’ pyjamas.

That is so nice @Oaktree 😊🥰 i am glad you were shown the love and appreciation people have for you.

@Chasingsunsets yes, it was a ferrero rocher! It was nuttela in the pancakes too 😋 and vanilla ice cream. They were a nice texture - light and not under-cooked.

My highlight today... well i only did 1 thing really, so thats easy. I caught up with a person for a chat and i met their 2 daughters in person (as i know this person from work, ive only met the children via video calls before in the background). 😊

My highlight is spending 5 days house and animal sitting for a friend of a friend, so they could go to a car show and enter their Chevy that has been done up. They were so excited that I could look after the animals for them. But I loved having animals around me, as I miss not having animals close to me that I can cuddle and show affection to. So it was a win for all of us.

@Mustang67 that must be summernats in Canberra? we lived in Canberra for 13 years. we only moved to get help for my middle son who was in a crisis at the age of 3. i have the same thing when my eldest brings over his dog to my place for a play. i love animals and dont have any myself so get my fix with his pup! i am glad you are in a good place with animal and house sitting. take care sweetheart. bunxxx

@Bunniekins unfortunately my animal sitting ended yesterday, so it was back to the caravan park to find out what is going on regarding our eviction. My partner has written a letter asking them to reconsider their decision and if they say no, then he will take it to the tribunal. So currently stuck in the stress.

Sounds good @Mustang67 maybe that could lead to more of the same re pet sitting?
