I haven’t had my highlights today yet but my birthday festivities continue. Today we are going to a pub for lunch. They serve a whole roast meal inside a giant Yorkshire pudding. Later tonight myself and 3 friends and going stargazing at an observatory. We are going to have a picnic first. Should be fun. Tomorrow I am going out to lunch with a group of clients from my support organisation. Apparently I am popular, 29 people are coming (didn’t know I even knew 29 people). Talk more about that tomorrow!

Aw @Anonymouse1000 that is so special what breed is she? I love dogs they are just awesome, how old is your pup? My girl is 10 this year- not sure where the time went but she came into my life at one of my lowest points and it has been the best time with her over the last 10 years she has helped more than words could express. She loves soft blankets ☺️ so I make sure she always has one near her and she takes up more than 50% of my bed but she can hehe 😂

Yes the tapering has been an on going issue. It’s relentless and exhausting. I still have more to go too. I’ve been so lucky to have made really good connections here with some people. I really value that and the lived experience is really so good. People really can understand. I’m just feeling overwhelmed with my mental illness and taper. I’m worried that I’ll be stuck like this forever. Having multiple disabilities is really making it hard to make any friends or be social. Even accessing supporys is really hard. There’s hardly anything there and most is very short term and for mild stuff. It’s all mainstream making it even harder when you are deaf and have a seeing guide dog.

I have not been able to find a GP nearby for mental health.

I did get an email about peer support doing training and that recovery club won’t now be back until February sometime. There’s the new portal going up tomorrow I think it is. I didn’t realise you could tag peer support. Thank you for letting me know.

I'm sorry your having trouble accessing a peer worker. I can see you're really struggling! Are you in a SANE group? What are you doing to distract yourself?

I'm glad you're getting sleep! That's a positive. I sure hope the tapering gets easier as time goes on. When do you start on the new meds? 💚
