Ah @ENKELIthat’s tough! Cheeky Sam escaping his cage! I think the same as you- I hope he found a girlfriend and is flying high amongst the trees.
Got something to share with you though, so when we have been walking I have not seen any galahs yet. Guess what we saw this evening! Galahs!! Thought of you and thought while writing this I wonder if this was a sign from Sam to you, I kind of feel like it is 🥰🙏💜

@Chasingsunsets this is Cindy. She keeps my mum company now, so she is helping my mum.

We have several different bird species in the park. The main one is ducks, they love to sit in the middle of your driveway, to make it hard to park your car. But I love it when they have their chicks and you can watch them walk on the road with all the little chicks following the mother duck.

I can hear kookaburras, but have never actually seen one yet, and I have seen what I think are some rosellas flying around. There are a few more different species, but I have no idea what they are called. Oh yeah, and we have maggies occasionally as well. There is one bird that starts to sing around 5.30am every morning, and if I am awake, I don't mind it, as it sounds nice.

I saw a koala in a tree when we first moved in. And we have 6 kangaroos that live in an enclosure. But as I went to the post office today, there were four kangaroos in the playground area, so we get wild kangaroos paying us a visit from time to time.

I was the same really re my knowledge on lorikeets!! So how cool we just learnt about type of lorikeet! I wonder if you’ll see one now since we have been talking about them 😅

Evening @Mustang67, awaiting your pics 🙏, wow you have a lot of wildlife around you! I am yet to see a kola in the wild so that is so cool! Rosellas are so pretty aren’t they!! Sounds like you have a heap of species of birds around you how good!
