@AuntGlow i keep it simple these days. I used to make iced coffees with a syrup and then milk and ice cream but I haven't done that for years now.

@Blackcloud Great job in being accepted into the Certificate IV in Mental Health at TAFE and looking to do the peer work course later on. I tried to do the course - mental health- at tafe but struggled with it due to doing it during Covid lockdowns here in Victoria and the teachers having different ideas on what to include in the course content to what I expected to be taught. I didn’t complete the course in the end as I had mental health issues and the Tafe had trouble securing placement opportunities for lots of students doing the course which also put me off completing it in the end. It took my housemate nearly 2 years to secure a placement opportunity and it wasn’t what she thought it would be - she got placed initially in a disability service and then a school at the last resort thanks to the tafe offering this as her final placement option which she didn’t enjoy. She got her qualification in the end and is now going on to study nursing next year at uni in order to be a mental health nurse. I’m going to be doing a bachelor degree in social work next year at uni in order to become a social worker and I’m looking to maybe work in schools at the end of it or in mental health if the opportunity arises. That’s my studying organised for the next 4 years!

My highlights today have been:

- Getting removalists quotes for my upcoming move next month - December

- Finished reading an ebook from the library which is the first book I’ve actually completely read all the way all year which is a major accomplishment for me!

- posting on the forums after not being around the past week due to carer and other dramas in my life!

Oh, @Judi9877 I just realised I meant to say in the post on the other thread - re: removalist. Sometimes the "call out fee" includes the first hour of work too. Mine did when I moved earlier this year, which can be why the fee is so high.

@MissGremlin I love how simple and easy your iced coffee is. 🙂 I like sachet drinks for that reason too. When I was a teenager I bought a sachet of coffee in Indonesia and followed its instructions when back at the hotel. it said to just add hot water and stir, and then milk/cream/sugar if you like. So I added water and a little milk and stirred. Well.. turns out they sometimes do that with coffee grinds!! Rather than use a plunger. 😐 ..it was... grainy? 😂. I think one of the packs I brought back for a friend this trip might have the instructions printed on it that show it also - I will check and post if so 😋.

@AlwaysMyself haha oh gees. I've accidentally put a sachet that's meant for a hot drink in and just added milk and they really just don't taste right 😂.

Shame these single sachets dont have instructions on them. But they're pretty single-serve ones still so i'll post it for the coffee lovers like @MissGremlin @Shaz51 and @rav3n (oops i forget who else loves coffee and iced coffees).

Dropping by to say a quick hello! I have an ever growing ‘to do list’ that I just can’t seem to get on top of. Where’s a strong iced coffee when you need one 😂, loved reading everyone’s posts can’t wait to spend a good amount of time on here to properly chat to everyone and also catchup on some awesome posts 🙏 😀☀️

My highlight today was watching Indi pick her favourite stick on the beach and carrying it the whole walk up and down the beach, getting it thrown at times. I approved of the stick not to big this one and easy to throw 😂😂

@Chasingsunsets i love how proud dogs are when they pick a good stick! I saw a monkey do this too whilst i was away! 🤣 we said it was just like pur dog lol. I took a video of it running around with stick in mouth and carefully passing another monkey with concern it might take its stick

Yes she was so happy with her choice!! Carried it the whole way even if I didn’t want to throw it she’d collect and bring it with us 😂
