Hi @Appleblossom you seemed to have had some lovely interactions with people lately. That's so lovely to hear.

Yes, I have to say I am really missing my dogs. It's nice seeing people out and about with their dogs.

Actually one of the ladies is indigneous from WA. @Till23 She always wears a shell on her neck and we were talking about gardening and making our own mulch. She had just lost her son, so it was a hard and DEEP listening "dadirri" kind of talk. But real. We just chat every few months when I see her when I am out walking.

Wow! That's a combination of breeds @Appleblossom . It's hard to imagine what it looked like!

When my son and his dog lived with me, we used to go for a walk every afternoon. I got to know the same people after a while through their dog's name. It was always Polly's dad, Summer's mum, Ace's dad, etc. I knew just about every dog's name at the park but none of the people's names. 😏 My favourite kisses are dog kisses! 🐶 I love them! Such unconditional love and loyalty. 💛

@heartathome we have 2 poodle crosses in our littel court. The other is a lab cross which is much smaller.

Funny thing is that,I also know the dogs name but not the name of the lady I was talking too. lol Embarrassed smile.

However, it's good for both of you that you two are able to have those deep conversations. Hopefully you both find some comfort from the conversations and you have some lighter things like gardening in common to talk about.

Unfortunately I am feeling more dissociated from feelings at the moment, so even of I had someone to have a deep conversation with I may not really "feel it".

I am trying to think of a highlight for today to fit into this thread.

I suppose it can be that it just rained for a short while here, which is good, because we are currently desperate for rain. Unfortunately it was short and sharp, but got 12mm out of it. Supposed to be really hot again over next couple of days

i had a client that had a pure bred poodle, first time i seen him im scratching my head thinking it looks like a poodle but im standing up patting its back.

i honestly didnt know that poodles were large dogs i didnt know what i always thought were poodles were miniature blew me out the water @Appleblossom

am i right in thinking english sheep dog is ralph in looney tunesthat used to give coyote the beat down?
