What has been your highlight today, no matter how big or small? Come share 🫶

@heartathome I’m just getting white in the bedrooms nothing special, but it looks good in the one room he has done. He is quite slow but thurough. The paint doesn’t smell too bad at all. The whole place is opened up. Luckily it is mild here today. I have incense burning too. I’m getting a bit tired of having tradie here into the afternoon. I’m a real morning person.

Glamping sounds nice. Where are you going?

My OCD likes white! @GezzaP It makes my unit feel a bit bigger and has a pure tone to it. I'm glad the paint doesn't smell too bad! What time do the tradies leave? The place I'm camping at is near me so I won't say where it is. There's about 70 people going but I'm camping on my own. I'm not sharing with anyone so I'll have my privacy when I want it! I'm a bit nervous of the predicted rain but am still going! 💛

@heartathome I’d say the tradie will be here until at least 4 he is slow but doing a good job. I think he might not finish 2nd bedroom today. Depends how long he stays and how long he takes to do second bedroom. I like the brightness of white. My bedroom is large already. Spare bedroom not so big so hopefully will look a bit bigger.

I’m getting tired as the afternoon progresses. Fair enough re where you are camping. Iike a tent to myself when I go camping. I have a one person tent. When I had the 4WD I had a roof top tent to myself. Have been outback all over the NT and WA. Been to every State and territory in Australia at some stage.

hi guys, I actually just got the outcome that I wasn't successful to do the paid role, which is actually a good thing for me and a relief to hear because hell I do not wanna do the phone role like ever lol so I'm so glad that I didn't get in!! 😄 now I can finally celebrate and have all of these thoughts out of the way!!

roller shutters and painting big jobs did it go smoothly?

hopefully showers didnt create too much humidity for the paint

@REDLINEZ750 Roller shutter people didn’t show up again 2nd time inn2 weeks very annoyed. Now they claim they will come Saturday at 8am but I don’t trust them. Really angry!

Painter came exactly on time, but was slow and didn’t finish all of the job, but he did a good job in the bedrooms. He may come back tomorrow afternoon which would suit me as I would have the morning to myself. My best time of day. If he can’t come tomorrow he will come Monday, but I have a chiro appt in the morning which I’ll now have to drive to darn it. He will come at 11am if he comes Monday. He took forever to do my bedroom, but did a great job and it’s a good price. So happy with him.

@tyme My highlight was when the painter finally left and I planted a cutting standing in the drizzle. It was a nice overcast 23 degrees today here in Adelaide. I was also able to catch up with my Spanish lessons. The plant was very calming for me after having someone in the house all day.

My highlight today is not responding to a friend who refuses to take accountability for her bad behaviour and blaming me for make her feel hurt.

What I wanted to tell her was to suck it up and stop being so miserable. She has a decent life but is the most negative person I've ever met.

Rant over. I was nice and bit my tongue. A huge highlight.
