@Appleblossom My dear Appleblossom. I am so sorry you are feeling SI I truly am. I am so very very glad and happy that you were heard. That is so important and I’m proud of you being open an vulnerable and just so thrilled you were heard and that the person also reassured you because you are credible and hearing that must have felt so good. I’m glad you are able to see your psychiatrist again on Friday. I am sure that they too will hear and validate you. I know it’s been really rough for you. You are doing so well in these circumstances but I recognise how hard it is and that it feels awful. Don’t feel afraid. It is ok to be honest about how you feel with your psychiatrist. It’s obvious they respect you and so do the staff in the clinic.

i think you will be fine @Blackcloud most important think id think is the cadence and tone of voice the help seekers need more than anything at time of call and you would have that naturally for being there to answer call ypur not doing it for the money the money came after you committed thats commendable.

yes there is a lot of theory about vulnerability .l Eg Brené Brown etc…

putting it into practice has varying degrees of success… because it does depend on who and what is around at the time, but I will keep trying and honour when it works

We did both islands @REDLINEZ750 . We were there almost 6 weeks. We went on w self drive tour with organised tours and accomodation. It was a package expensive but mostly fantastic. I also got to see some friends of mine twice in Auckland. They are dear friends so that was great. We went to Christchurch at the end of our travels on the South Island. We got the ferry to that island then flew from Christchurch to Auckland. The weather was perfect except for one day when we had a helicopter flight cancelled.
