I hope you have a good day @Bunniekins and that your son is okay! I've got a quiet day planned. I will ring my son today, since he's worked the weekend to see if he's okay. He's still in psychosis. If I don't hear from him, I worry. 💛

@heartathome i hope your son is doing okay hunny. it is a constant worry. has he got a treatment team? i got a text from the house manager to say they are watching my son to make sure he doesnt hurt himself. i dont know where i would be without them.

Hi @Chasingsunsets I went to bed straight after my post, so didn't see your post until just now. I love the sound of rain on the roof, especially when I am in bed. As long as it's not pouring down too much.

I am just about to go off and play table tennis, just for fun.

I retired early mainly because of my mental health and I was no longer enjoying work. Some of my work was in health care setting. I think there's no "rule" that you can't say what you do/did just that for anonymity and perhaps other reasons people may not want to, some people here definitely do mention it. I have been retired for less than a year. I am finding it difficult due to having always worked and making that the focus of my life. I do not have kids, so it's been the main thing in my life. I haven't had any major hobbies that take up my time either. I also didn't really use any sick days until I got cancer and then I used up my days for that year.

I hope you are having as good a day as possible @Cuddlebear. I will probably be on later, but off to table tennis now.

No @REDLINEZ750 he couldnt get the battery charged due to the car being immobilised. The security system stops this or something?!

Car at mechanics now trying to charge the battery manually and see if that resets the security system, otherwise it is to an electrician to completely deactivate security system ☹️

My son is on the NDIS and has a support worker three times a week. The professional boundaries have become blurred in the last three years. They've become quite enmeshed, which I'm not really happy about. He was her first client and my son's first support worker. They go out together (on their own) or game online. She tells him to hire a cleaner as she's not going to help him around the house. Poor doodles. I thought that's a part of what she's getting paid for. Anyway, my son's happy with her and he's a grown man who can make his own decisions, or so he tells me!

How old is your son @Bunniekins ? I'm glad he's got the house team looking out for him! Does he live with others? Will he see a doctor about the voices? I know it's worrying! I've been a mess for years over worrying about my son. I was fortunate that I had the opportunity very recently to tell him that I don't need to know everything about his life (especially his drug taking) and disengaging a little bit. It's sad but it's for my own mental health! I pick up the pieces when he goes back into psychosis! I hope the coffee with your son is reassuring that he has the help he needs! 💛
