@Glisten your dinner sounds as healthy as mine. I had a hazelnut latte, shortbread and a peanut butter sammich. At least the sammich was rye bread. 4 star health rating so the bread bag tells me.

The one thing I bake very well is shortbread. But you need a good oven that heats evenly.

I assume that the first bike picture in you profile is yours? Do you ride often? When I met my ex-husband, he had a Honda Firebird. And then after a few years, he changed to a Hayabusa. I loved the power of that bike. I really enjoyed going out on it every Friday night for a ride through the city, then down to the beach and then to the hills where i got dropped off and the guys would drive up and down the winding roads.

The chilli was nice @Chasingsunsets . Stored leftovers for later. Going to have something different today. Yes I’m up early again.

thats a bike @Mustang67 not many match it on open rd and my brother swears they are quite agile around town.

they can shred a brand new tyre in a day without sneezing & first bike to be governed at 300 clicks. not for faint hearted hahaha.

i have a preference for naked bikes, more punishing at top end with wind resistance and wanna hope helmets snug but i like the position and im an idiot that goes over islands and stuff when needed through bush whatever plastics just fet damaged too easy.

750 keeps me sorta honest if i had a bike does 300 id find myself on a freeway middle of night thinking wonder what that extra 80ks feels like while noones around 🤔

@REDLINEZ750 the ex had his up to 250 with me on the back, and then the arsehole ducked. I nearly went flying off the back. I was not amused, and he got a hit on his helmet for his troubles, Apparently, he tried to get it to 300, but it was becoming a bit unstable, so he backed off.

And if the cops ever tried to pull him over, he wouldn't stop because he knew that they could not catch him.

It's funny a friend once asked me what I saw in my ex-husband and my answer was a cool motor bike. Lol

Prickly? Well ..... I have not been feeling great lately, anxiety is playing havoc with me, low energy, feeling disengaged with life etc. I feel the meds I am on are not working and are not making me feel great so after a discussion with my doctor I am coming off them. The road feels quite difficult but no more difficult than how I was feeling on them and I must remember that.

I went in for a leadership unit and it is part of an advocacy certificate but I decided yesterday that the course was not right for me. I believe I would be suited to this type of work but in a different environment. I am going to take some time for me. Walking, trying to reconnect with things I love such as nature and maybe my community. But slowly, slowly 🐌
