Sex? Colour? Age? Rescue? Sorry for the barrage of questions. I love animals, especially people's pets! You know you don't have to answer any questions. I hope you get a bit more sleep before meeting your friend this afternoon so you're not so tired. It's great to hear you find gardening very therapeutic! I think my plants would love living at your place! Do you talk to the plants? I've heard it helps them grow.

@heartathome How are you today my friend? That’s awesome you speak to a SANE counsellor and then have recovery club next week. how did your counselling go? I’m on the other recovery club it doesn’t have the counsellor/peer support. I have my camera off and mute but I respond via the chat. 🙂 I really enjoy attending the zoom sessions. They’re very helpful and build such a good sense of community too.

Due to being on a high dose I’m still tapering. This medication is known to be hard to taper off. Initially the APARC people did too quick a reduction I became very ill. Also the withdrawals have been severe so now my GP has agreed to not go as fast and wait for my body to adjust. I’ve got two more reductions to go. 😞 Doing it at home mostly alone but under care of GP. Not easy. I’m pretty scared of the next drop after what I’ve already been through.

I really want to feel some hope that it won’t get any harder.

I'm doing okay @Cuddlebear Thanks' for asking! A friend took me out for a coffee this afternoon which was really nice!

The counsellor is quite good. We're working on my goals and suggestions for anxiety. I'm glad that you like your group. I really like the group setting too! I think that I get more out of the group although I appreciate my counsellor. My rebellious inner teenager is telling her in no uncertain terms, not to tell me what to do. I told the counsellor that. I think she understands a little bit more about me now!

I really struggle with the chats. People are really quick at typing in my group, and I had trouble keeping up with the conversations although I totally get it! I'll learn to read the chats quicker, in the same way as I'm brushing up on my typing skills. I was extremely slow when I first chatted with you!

I remember when you were leaving the hospital and were really unwell. I don't think they did their duty of care, from what I read! I think when they reduced the medication too quickly would have been the worst. Here's hoping and praying for an easier time with the next reduction! 💛

@heartathome I have been to Spanish America over a dozen times.

My cat is a tabby with black stripes. She is nearly 5, is a rescue cat originally from Cooper Pedy. If I could get photo to work I would put one up here.

I had a nice afternoon at my friend’s place. We walked around her garden. Then we went through the novels and stories in Spanish that she gave me. We had a cuppa and cake.
I got to drive home before peak hour traffic too. Dropped in shop. Sitting having a drink now relaxing as it’s a bit tiring speaking Spanish with my Argentine friend. I have to concentrate and I don’t get to practice much.

Here’s a rainbow bee eater and a pair of galahs they were so funny quietly sitting there but they were curious of me and the one on the right was head popping and showing his/her crest 😂

cooper pedy. Opal mining there. Still waiting on one quote. There was a $1500 difference between the other two quotes which is huge. Will wait to see what the other quote is as they were recommended by a friend. We’ll see.

@Chasingsunsets The rescue brought my puss from cooper pedy to Adelaide. Yes the difference between the two quotes is huge.
