Hope the day has started/ progressing well for you all 🙏☀️

My highlight yesterday would have to be seeing a fresh water turtle almost have airtime getting back to the water, I did not realise they could be so fast, poor thing was getting chased by a dog (not mine) and I went to go help it but it was a little machine, almost flew to the lake, definitely would have beat the hare in a race this one!! 🐢

My second highlight had to be seeing a female fig bird hop in a nest on our walk!! Unfortunately it’s quite high up and hard to see if she is sitting on eggs yet! I’ll have to go on more walks around that location to hopefully keep tabs on her and her nest!

Wasn’t able to get that great of photo of her but this is what she looks like - another pic of mine of another female, and the pic of last nights female hoping into her nest at the bottom 😊

@GezzaP hi GezzaP hope your headache goes soon. i had remainder of spag bol for lunch (love having a cooked lunch!). wish i loved gardening.... i love my garden it makes me happy seeing it but i hate the maintenance so have this gardener come in every so often. I know all about the expense of the upkeep of a property. my mum just spent a stack of money on new blinds in her unit and now her air conditioner isnt working. not one thing it is another.

@Bunniekins Organised 3 quotes on painting for next week. Will see what they quote me then decide whether to go ahead with it. I have a porch and 3 indoor ceilings which really need doing. Also need 2 bedrooms done really, but may just get ceilings done for now. Have to see what prices I get offered for solar battery on Wednesday. One of them was super pushy I got annoyed with that. He bombarded me with emails. I looked at his reviews and they were mixed. The other company seems better, was not pushy and was cheaper. I’ll see what happens when they are due to call me back Wednesday.

I ate and feel a bit better. Having a break before going out in the garden. Puss on my lap:

Dog high tea was very nice. 🥰 met a few other cute little puppers. And my dog being a large one got their food leftovers so she was very spoilt 😆.
